For many years now, the main television channel of Russia has been pleasing the multimillion audience with its work. During its existence, the First underwent various changes and transformed in accordance with the development trends of society.
The management of Channel One has always done everything possible so that the ratings of the programs do not stop growing. Today, the First is headed by a reliable team of professionals working in the name of art and in the interests of the viewer.
From the time of ORT to the present day
The main channel of the country began its work more than twenty years ago. In the distant and difficult nineties, when the confusion and devastation in the country fell heavily on the shoulders of Russians, the so-called Public Russian Television appeared. Televisions on the topic of the day, news programs, the first independent entertainment projects - that is what people could see on the screens of their TVs throughout the post-Soviet space.
It was not easy to work in those days: tight control by the state ceased, but what new and interesting could and should have been offered to the viewer was not yet fully understood. Enthusiastic leaders and leaders began all over from scratch.
At the beginning of the two thousandths on the channel there was a rebranding, a new name came: "First". Over time, the work stabilized and reached a qualitatively new level. The ratings of the programs grew, new presenters appeared, with a new creative approach to broadcasting. The leadership of the First channel actively attracted new personnel and encouraged the masters of their craft.
A few years ago there were changes in the technical characteristics of broadcasting. This made it possible to meet all modern international standards.
To date, the country's main television channel has formed the backbone of professional leaders, presenters, journalists and correspondents, cameramen, directors and other specialists. Sometimes making inconceivable rearrangements and introducing non-standard solutions, the leadership of the First Channel of Television does not cease to amaze the audience.

He worked on television since the late 80s, during which time he was a correspondent, chief editor, presenter. Today, he is one of the "whales" on which the channel rests, the general director of the international broadcasting subsidiary, Channel One: The World Wide Web.
Shocking permutations on the First
The leadership of Channel One over the past period has made a series of rearrangements that have struck and even upset some viewers. Decisions to stop broadcasting old ones and appearing new television programs were sometimes very ambiguous.
So, the program "Wait for me", reunited over the years of its existence, thousands of people scattered around the world, will no longer adorn the First Channel. The change of leadership is what influenced this event: the new managers did not find a replacement for the presenter who left the project. This move very upset the audience, which was so fond of kind and sentimental transmission.
It seemed that everything would be fine: viewers still understand that nothing in this world lasts forever. But this is not the only project that closed Channel One. The new leadership made another decision: to stop the release of the sensational show "Alone with everyone" with the provocative host Julia Menshova. The program existed for more than four years, during which time Menshova interviewed many stars of Russian pop music. Sharp questions, playing on the thinnest strings of the soul - the style of the show was fundamentally different from most of the channel’s programs and was loved by millions of people in the country. Why the project was closed is largely a mystery.
Another high-profile event was the transition of one of the main presenters to another channel. Andrei Malakhov, host of several talk shows who worked at the First for many years, decided to leave. The programs run by the journalist have been replaced.
The sensational scandal of Channel One
In addition to the closure of some projects for the so-called technical reasons and circumstances, the country was discouraged by a number of scandals that were associated with the brainchild of Ernst.
So, broadcast on weekends for 25 years (think about these numbers!), The program “While everyone is at home” has ceased to exist. There were different versions of closing the program, but an undeniable fact that attracted general attention was a quarrel: the leadership of Channel One television did not find a common language with a permanent host. In addition, it was well known that Kizyakova (the author and presenter) was suspected of receiving commercial benefits from speculation with the topic of orphans, which was covered in the program. Be that as it may, the show continued to exist on another channel, after the loud departure of the presenter and his team.
Aggravation of the situation with the new TV show
It would seem that there were already enough intrigues and controversial decisions that affected Channel One. The leadership decided differently by launching a new project called “Baboon Riot” and calling the infamous Olga Buzova as one of the leaders.
Not so much the show itself, but the choice of the main character caused such a wide resonance, because the attitude towards the girl in society is ambiguous. On the one hand, having more than 11 million subscribers in social networks, Buzova is very popular. On the other hand (rather, for subjective reasons), it is being harassed by both haters among the audience and among colleagues in the shop. Repeatedly put forward demands to close the transmission or change the lead. What will resolve the issue, only time will tell.
New interesting projects
According to popular wisdom, "a holy place does not happen empty." Closed projects were replaced by new ones; the leading ones were replaced by fresh personnel.
The channel launched a new show called "Kings of Plywood." The host of the program - a young famous actor, a favorite of girls, who played a major role in the series "Major" and a number of other sensational masterpieces - unambiguously brought the First ratings with his very appearance. It's about Pavel Priluchny.
Another new project - the brainchild of presenter Dmitry Shepelev - displays liars to clean water through the use of a polygraph. And the show is called "Actually."
An alternative to closed programs was the television program of Elena Flying, called "The Flying Squad." In the project, the presenter encourages and tries to teach ordinary Russians to assert their rights, whatever it may be.
Whether the viewers are always satisfied with the decisions of the leadership of the First is a rhetorical question. But the fact that the channel managed to withstand the competition, stay afloat, maintain ratings and continues to fuel interest in itself is an indisputable fact.
