The Vyatich brewery has been operating for over a hundred years. Its development began at the beginning of the 20th century, after the arrival of the German engineer Karl Schneider in Vyatka. Soon he received the right to sell honey and beer products throughout the Russian Empire.
Seven years later, the plant becomes the owner of two beer restaurants and several dozen shops selling foamy drinks. Products are delivered to Moscow, St. Petersburg, European cities. After the revolution, the nationalization of the plant takes place in the country. In 1921, the enterprise became a state institution. It continues to work and develop production activities.
Stages of development
A new round in the development of the Vyatich beer factory began in the post-war period. In 1952, two ammonia-type compressors were mounted at the plant. They allowed to abandon cooling with ordinary ice. Steadily growing volumes demanded the development of malt supplies and updating equipment for the manufacture. A few years later, the plant was equipped with a box malt house, an additional two-tier dryer, and a pair of key vats. In addition, the modernization of the brewhouse was carried out:
- Boilers with a capacity of up to one and a half tons were installed.
- Filtration, crushing units are equipped.
- Wooden containers are replaced with steel samples.
- A new production flow chart has been introduced.
In the 70s, automated lines were launched. Productivity reached about six thousand bottles every hour.
Modern production
Recently, Vyatich beer has been produced at the plant, which includes a malt section, a brewing workshop, a draft and non-alcoholic line. As additional and auxiliary units, equipment repair divisions, transport and compressor departments, a boiler room, a marketing and household service work. Vyatka brewery produces several varieties. The following products are among the most popular brands:
- "Zhigulevskoe". Standard low-density beer made from light malt. It has an affordable price, perfectly quenches thirst in the summer.
- "Living." An original product made according to a traditional recipe.
- Schneider LAGER. It is named after the founder of the plant. It is a light drink with 4% alcohol. It perfectly quenches thirst, allowing you to feel the pronounced taste and light hop bitterness.
Varietal Features
Traditional beer lovers will appreciate the classic beer. The taste of this drink is pronounced, while the minimum portion of hops is added to the composition. Variations with the inclusion of rice are produced, which makes them sweeter: "Amber", "Barrel". Lovers of unfiltered drink are provided with Vyatich live beer. It has a special yeast aftertaste and a traditional hop aroma. Most often, the product is sold within the region, since the shelf life is several days at a certain temperature (maximum one month).
Dark beer is produced under the name "Special." It is a hop product with an original caramel malt flavor. Connoisseurs of high-density varieties will be attracted to Elite. The drink has a malt flavor, the alcohol content is within 5.8%. Fans of the product stronger fit Vyatich Strong beer. In addition, the plant produces limited batches of the drink, dedicated to the New Year and some other holidays.

Reviews
From consumers about beer "Vyatich" you can hear a lot of good and not very reviews. The advantages of the drink users include an affordable price, a variety of varieties, good taste, spectacular design packaging, the presence in the assortment of "live" beer.
Nevertheless, the beer "Vyatich", reviews of which are diverse, received many complaints. Some customers do not like the aftertaste and severe hangover. The disadvantages include the unstable pricing policy, the loss in taste of similar grades of other manufacturers, the rather dubious quality of the non-alcoholic option, which was quickly discontinued.
Output
In conclusion, it can be noted that domestic breweries with a long history have been appreciated and continue to be in demand among different segments of the population. In many respects, the introduction of new technologies and the use of cheap raw materials along with preservatives influence the taste and other qualities of the product. Unfortunately, many owners of elite companies strive to make a profit with minimal investment, which does not always lead to the desired result. I would like to believe that the Vyatich brewery will continue to produce high-quality and natural products.
