How to make a shortbread cake with jam or just a quick cake

The first recipe. Shortcake with jam

To prepare it, take products such as eggs in the amount of two pieces, flour - 2.5 cups, 250 grams of margarine (you can use butter), sugar - one cup, vanillin, baking powder and some kind of jam (currant, plum, strawberry , cherry, apricot, apple).

First of all, you need to melt the margarine in the microwave or in a water bath. Further, while the margarine for the shortcake with jam cools, it is necessary to beat the sugar with eggs until the sugar is completely dissolved and a white froth is formed. Then add vanillin, mix and pour the margarine. Mix well again. It remains to add flour so that the dough becomes firm and sticks to the hands.

Now prepare the baking sheet, greasing it with butter. In the meantime, do not forget to turn on the oven to heat it. The dough must be divided into two unequal parts - 2/3 and 1/3. The smaller one is sent to the refrigerator to freeze for thirty minutes. And put the other part of the dough on a baking sheet. The next step in making a pie with jam is to put the jam itself on the dough, completely covering it. Now after 30 minutes we take out the dough, roll it into a layer and cut into thin strips. With these stripes we close the whole shortbread cake with jam, and boldly send it to the oven until fully cooked. You can check the readiness with a toothpick, piercing it with the middle of the pie. If the dough sticks to it, then the cake is not ready yet.

The second recipe. Grated jam pie

The recipe for grated pie is similar to the previous recipe - shortbread cake with jam, with the only difference being that 1/3 of the dough is sent to the freezer for 1 hour, and then it must be grated on a layer of jam with a coarse grater. Cottage cheese with apples, cottage cheese with jam or jam, just apples, as well as nuts, raisins, dried apricots can also serve as a filling.

The third recipe. Kefir Jam Pie

To prepare the next jam pie, you need to take products such as two eggs, 2.5 cups of flour, one cup of kefir, half a cup of sugar, one teaspoon of soda and any jam - one cup. We begin to slowly mix all the ingredients. First, pour jam into a bowl, add soda to it, mix and let stand for five minutes. Then, in turn, we continue to add other products, such as sugar, eggs, flour and kefir. Mix well and pour the dough onto a baking sheet. By the way, in such a dough you can add raisins, dried apricots, prunes or spices for baking, for example, cinnamon or vanillin. It remains to send the cake to the oven for 30 or 40 minutes with the oven preheated to 200 degrees. Readiness can be checked with a toothpick.
