- 250 grams of dried balls and the same amount of condensed milk;
- 170-200 grams of butter (not less than 72% fat content);
- a drop of vanilla essence for flavoring.
It is also worth leaving a couple of dozen of these balls to decorate the finished cake, if there is time and desire for this. If not, itβs okay, the taste of the finished dish does not depend much on its appearance.
How to cook such a dessert?
A cake made of chocolate balls is prepared elementarily - any schoolchild can make it, if parents allow the child. To begin with, you should choose a suitable shape and line it with cling film inside so that the edges protrude at least five to eight centimeters on the sides. Very beautiful cakes of this kind are obtained from oval bowls for salad, it is also convenient to use a split baking dish.
When it is ready, set this dish aside and take a wide bowl to beat butter with condensed milk and vanilla in it until light air mass. If desired, add pieces of fruit and nuts. Then pour in dry Nesquik balls and mix gently with a spoon (or hands) to a uniform mass, being careful not to crush the balls.
The resulting dense mass is transferred to the prepared form and lightly tamped with soft finger presses. Level the top layer and cover it with the edges of the cling film, leave at room temperature for two hours or in the refrigerator for four. The cake should be saturated with cream, but at the same time partially preserve the crunchy properties. Such an unusual taste of this dessert is very popular with children. Free the finished product from the film and decorate the upper part with chocolate balls that were left in the beginning. They easily stick to the cake, but if this is not enough, then you can use a small amount of condensed milk or a chocolate bar melted to a liquid state.
With peanuts and dried fruits
According to the recipe presented above, you can make a cake with the addition of chopped peanuts and dried fruits, cut into pieces. To do this, add to the main recipe:
- One hundred grams of roasted peanuts, crushed into small pieces.
- By a generous pinch of various dried fruits that are available at home: raisins, dried apricots, dates. It is important to pre-soak them in boiling water for several minutes so that they swell, and also get rid of dust and small grains of sand that fall on them during the drying and sale process.
- Additionally, in such a cake from balls without baking, you can add small candied fruits, slices of marmalade, and even better - take just a little bit and mix into a single mass. The child will be interested to eat a new dessert, not even knowing how much he has become more beneficial from such delicious additives.
With banana and chocolate chips
Another recipe for cooking will not leave indifferent fans of breakfast cereals from balls: a cake with the addition of pieces of chocolate will become a favorite children's dessert. To prepare it, you need to take:
- 300 grams of dry mix of balls. This can be one package or a little from different to give the finished product a great deal of unusualness when cut, as well as unique taste.
- Two bananas, cut into pieces. It is very convenient to cut the fruit into circles with a diameter of 0.5 cm, and then each cut crosswise into four parts.
- One can of condensed milk.
- A handful of chocolate chips.
- 220 grams of high fat butter.
Step cooking
Following the usual pattern of making a cake from balls, first a cream of condensed milk and butter is whipped, then dry balls and chocolate pieces are mixed in another bowl. Then they are combined with the cream, and at the end, fruit slices are carefully introduced and mixed until evenly distributed over the sweet mass.
Put it in a pre-prepared form, press it a little with your hands and cover it with a film on top, so that the upper part of the cake does not dry out from contact with air. The finished cake needs two to three hours to soak and reach the taste condition, so it is better to send it to a cool place.
Cream Cream Cake
The sugary taste of condensed milk in combination with butter is not to everyone's taste, and even more so for those who follow the figure, since such a dessert has too high an energy value: 470 calories per gram serving. Given that the goodies turn out to be difficult, this piece is very small, so eating an extra serving of cake from balls is very simple.
Change not only the calorie content of such a dessert, but also the taste, you can replace the traditional cream of condensed milk with whipped cream, while adding a few innovations to the recipe:
- Beat 250 grams of cream and one hundred grams of icing sugar in a lush cream, not forgetting to add a little vanilla for the aroma at the end of the process.
- In a wide bowl, mix 200 grams of dried chocolate balls with cornflakes (120-150 grams) and 100 grams of chopped roasted peanuts.
- Combine both masses together, mixing until the ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Place the resulting sweet billet in a form lined with cling film, tamp a little and send the finished cake from the balls to a cool place for three to four hours for impregnation.
Some useful tips
If during the mixing of the ingredients it turned out that the mass is dry, then you should add a little more condensed milk or, in extreme cases, ordinary milk, so that the balls, when absorbing the liquid, become softer.
Immediately before serving, the cake form should be carefully turned onto a dish, removed from the film and decorated as you wish. This can be done with ground nuts, chocolate or coconut, pieces of marmalade or curls of whipped cream.
Such a cake can stand in the refrigerator for about two days without losing its taste, although many claim that in the first few hours after preparation it is most delicious due to the fact that not all balls are well saturated and retain a pleasant crunch.
