It seems that he does not do all the evil in order to mischief, he just wants to have fun, relax. Nevertheless, the villain has one dream: he wants to marry the beautiful Milolik. Oleg Tabakov, who played this role, was able to fashion the image of a very clever manipulator, which successfully hides under the guise of a simpleton.

The film "After the rain on Thursday", whose actors created a lot of different images, is a surprisingly light, naive film in a good way. There are no truly negative characters in it.
Koschey in this tale is shown as a clever rogue and a crook. He constantly gives false promises to his yard people and guests, but he is not going to fulfill them. It seems that everything will happen after the rain on Thursday. The actors who played Koschey’s servants, led by him, created a kind of team of negative heroes, which nevertheless can be treated with little sympathy. Tabakov played amazingly funny. Koschey turned out great - chubby, his cheeks are glowing, his smile shines with golden crowns. And his outfit is gilded, and his hairstyle too. Now Koschey does not hang on chains. He is a tyrant, but selfish, and even sometimes good-natured.
Baba Yaga and others ...
The wonderful Oleg Anofriev, whose voice sung the characters of dozens of Soviet cartoons, played the tsar-priest. The monarch turned out to be somewhat limp and rustic. He fell under the heel of a housekeeper for a long time, so he does not particularly express his opinion.
Baba Yaga, played by Tatyana Peltzer, has long been a kind of fabulous masterpiece. She, of course, is an evil character, but ... She fulfills her duties exclusively formally.
And what a sweet, sentimental Babadur (Semyon Farad)! Yes, he is the head of his country, there are a lot of people around him. But even so, with his naked eyes you can see that his soul is quite vulnerable and infinitely lonely. And this, despite the fact that he loves games like "Mala Kucha".
Each guest star agreed to star in the film, "After the Rain on Thursday." Actors themselves became children for some time, worrying about the real prince, Milolik, the Firebird and angry at the evil key keeper.
