The Subximplex device for newborns is available in the form of a suspension for oral (by mouth) administration. The active ingredient is simethicone. Additional substances: sodium benzoate, sodium citrate, citric acid monohydrate, flavor, purified water, methyl hydroxypropyl cellulose and others.

The active substance of the drug is a stable surface-active polymethylsiloxane. Simethicone reduces surface tension and causes destruction in the gas bubbles that form in the intestinal mucus and stomach contents.

The active component physically removes the foam, does not enter into a chemical reaction. Absorption of simethicone by oral administration does not occur. The component is unchanged from the body.
