On a festive day, preparing a treat for guests, each housewife tries to please her friends by offering something delicious for dessert. Traditionally, such a dish is a cake. But it turns out that there is another version of a very delicate and tasty dessert that does not require large financial outlays and is quite easy to make: chocolate cake. What you need to make a chocolate cake

No exotic gadgets are required to create a chocolate treat. You can make such a pie using the items that are in any kitchen. You will need:

  • 2 containers for mixing;
  • baking dish;
  • teaspoon and tablespoon;
  • measuring cup;
  • as well as a mixer or whisk.

The advantage of such baking is that to make a chocolate cake, a recipe with a photo is not required - as, indeed, are any special culinary skills. Even an inexperienced housewife, who has never worked with a dough before, can easily cope with the preparation of this delicious treat.

The pie is excellent with both real chocolate and cocoa. Both methods have both supporters and opponents. If a chocolate cake is prepared for a home feast, it is cheaper and easier to use regular powder. It is enough to mix it with flour or pour into a liquid base. Unlike chocolate, which must first be melted in a steam or water bath, which takes an average of 5 to 15 minutes.

However, in any recipe, cocoa is easily replaced with a bar of dark chocolate. The taste of the cake in this case will be more saturated, since flavoring and cocoa butter are added to the chocolate during the manufacture.

This baking is very tender and soft, and it takes a little time. You will need:

  • 250 ml (preferably not very acidic) sour cream;
  • 1 egg
  • 200–220 g of granulated sugar;
  • 4 teaspoons of cocoa;
  • half a teaspoon of soda;
  • 160 g (or 1 standard glass) of flour;
  • and 1 teaspoon of salt.

For this test, it is most convenient to use a mixer. It will turn out thick, stirring it with a whisk will be difficult. Beat the egg with sugar and sour cream first. Salt the mixture. Sift the flour: this will fill it with air, and the cake will be more magnificent. Add cocoa powder to the flour.

Now switch the mixer to low speed and, stirring sour cream, pour a flour in a thin stream, making sure that no lumps form. When the consistency becomes homogeneous, the dough is ready.

To make the cake high, take a deep baking dish with a bottom diameter of 20-22 cm. Cover the bottom with pastry parchment and carefully grease the sides with margarine. Then put the dough into the mold and carefully level it with a spoon.

Chocolate cake does not like too much heat or temperature changes. Preheat the oven to no more than 190 ° C and only after that send the dough into it. 40 minutes will be enough.

In order not to serve a baked dessert, gently take a skewer or a long toothpick and very carefully pierce the dough with it. After pulling out, swipe it with your finger: if the surface is dry, then the cake is ready. After removing it from the oven, coat the top with a brush dipped in water and cover with a towel for 4-7 minutes. After that, the chocolate cake can be removed from the mold, transferred to a beautiful dish and served.

How to make an unusual pie with cottage cheese and chocolate

A great option for a children's holiday is a curd chocolate cake. The recipe for this delicacy is unique in that by adding just one ingredient, you can create an incredibly delicious dessert that tastes as good as expensive cream cakes.

The outer and central parts of the pie are prepared separately. The following products will be required for the test:

  • 180 g (standard pack) of butter;
  • 200 g of flour;
  • 4-5 teaspoons of cocoa;
  • and a glass of sugar.

To prepare the filling you need to take:

  • a pound of soft cottage cheese or curd mass;
  • 3 medium sized chicken eggs,
  • a glass of granulated sugar;
  • some vanilla powder for smell;
  • 100 g of sour cream;
  • and 2 tablespoons (20 g) of starch.

Each "layer" is prepared separately, after which one by one is laid out one on top of the other. The peculiarity of such a delicacy is that by appearance few people can recognize chocolate cake in this magnificent fragrant dessert. Photos of this baking are often taken as an image of the Bird's milk cake due to the characteristic combination of black and white-cream layers. The taste is completely unique and very delicate: the “cake” literally melts in your mouth.

How to make chocolate cake with cottage cheese

Remove a packet of butter in advance to warm it. It is impossible to melt it. First make the dough: beat the butter and sugar, then mix the flour with cocoa powder and put this mixture into the butter. Then hands knead the dough, grinding and mixing the ingredients.

When the dough is ready, you can proceed to the filling. Beat the eggs, gradually adding sugar and vanilla to them. Put the cottage cheese and sour cream pre-mixed with starch. And mix thoroughly the resulting mass.

Now comes the crucial moment. Take a round deep baking dish and cover it with paper designed for this purpose. Put a little more than half the dough on the bottom, flatten it with your hand and make a kind of side along the walls to hold the cottage cheese. The inside should not be in contact with the sides. Pour the semi-liquid filling and cover with the remaining dough on top.

The oven must be preheated to 200 degrees. Put the dough pan inside and bake for about 40 minutes. If the cake did not have time to bake, you can leave it for a few more minutes in the oven.

When removing a chocolate cake from a mold, be careful: it turns out to be very soft and delicate and can break due to careless handling. From above, the pastries can be poured with chocolate melted in a steam bath (in this case it will be necessary to put the cake in the refrigerator for an hour or two to let the icing harden).
