Crab sticks: what to cook?

Crab meat in the 90s was a delicacy that was not on everyone’s tables. It was then that crab sticks decorated the tables, which at that time were unusual and had excellent taste.

They are made from surimi (ground white fish) with the addition of protein, water, starch, salt and sugar. Nevertheless, they are affordable, and the hostesses prepare many original and tasty dishes from them.

Rinse a glass of rice well and pour in two glasses of hot water. After boiling, salt, cover and leave on low heat for 20 minutes. After 7 minutes, the dishes can be opened and the contents mixed. It should make a nice friable rice; for its salad you will need 100 grams.

Take an avocado (1 pc) and cut it into two parts. Then the pulp is taken out and cut into small pieces. Combine the cooled rice and canned corn (100 g). Then cut the crab sticks and add to the rest of the ingredients. Fresh cucumbers give this salad a special flavor.

The last ingredient is boiled eggs (3 pcs.). They are cut into small cubes and combined with other products. Salt to taste and season with sour cream or mayonnaise. The salad is not only tasty and healthy, but also quite nutritious.

A dish like rolls has become a favorite treat for Europeans and Americans. This is not surprising, because any housewife can cook rolls or sushi with crab sticks. In addition, this product is inexpensive.

If there is no special rice at hand, you can use any other. In addition, vinegar is useful. Rice should turn out not friable, but sticky. For 1 cup of cereal, take 2 cups of water. In addition, you need 4 tablespoons of vinegar, 1 tablespoon of sugar and a teaspoon of salt. Bring the mixture to a boil, add to rice and mix thoroughly. Rice is ready.

It should be noted that crab sticks always go well with cucumbers and fish. Sometimes, instead of red fish, they take other ingredients, for example, caviar. The Japanese use different products for making sushi - fruits, berries, vegetables and mayonnaise. However, rice, fish and nori are traditional ingredients.
