Kidney Inflammation: Symptoms

In order to timely detect kidney disease, you need to know the symptoms of a specific ailment well. Against the background of kidney problems, such common diseases as inflammation of the bladder, urolithiasis, pyelonephritis, glomerulonephritis and others develop.

If kidney inflammation is suspected, symptoms should be analyzed immediately. Signs of glomerulonephritis are manifested in the form of a headache, weakness, increased blood pressure, the presence in the urine of blood, too little urine, or, conversely, elevated. Protein and red blood cells can be detected by urinalysis. Damage to the tangles of the cortical layer of the kidney characterizes this disease. Basically, these are the consequences of tonsillitis, flu, colds. Glomerulonephritis can provoke various poisonings, for example, mercury vapor, mushrooms, bee stings, vaccination, allergic complications are also dangerous.

Inflammation of the kidneys, the symptoms of which are not similar to the symptoms of glomerulonephritis, must be compared with another disease - pyelonephritis. It is somewhat different from the previous one, and occurs in the area of the tubules of the inner cerebral layer and renal pelvis. This disease is accompanied by lower back pain, sharp fluctuations in body temperature, frequent headaches. Urine becomes cloudy and dark.

Very unpleasant moments are renal colic. They cause a sharp, burning pain in the lower back. Urination becomes frequent, painful and difficult, and sometimes it can be completely stopped. All this can be accompanied by constipation, bloating, vomiting.

Signs that characterize inflammation of the kidneys, the symptoms that occur during this, deliver a lot of unpleasant moments at the initial stage of development of a disease. But these moments will be even more if treatment is not started in a timely manner, since acute inflammation will inevitably turn into chronic. This can lead to such a serious disease as renal failure, leading to swelling, high blood pressure, malfunctioning of the heart, liver, and blood.

Kidney inflammation can occur in children, their symptoms are the same as in adults, only a child can not always complain about them. The task of the parents is to notice and respond in time to any changes in the behavior of the child.

First, you need to monitor the amount of urine and the frequency of its allocation. In a healthy child, the amount of day urine should exceed the amount of night urine. If the opposite is true, this already indicates a violation of the kidneys.

Secondly, the appearance of intense thirst should immediately alert, since this symptom may be the result of not only this disease. Therefore, you should immediately contact a child specialist.

Immediately it is very difficult to establish inflammation of the kidneys, the symptoms are not always pronounced enough. The general condition of a sick child is characterized by pale skin, headache, swelling of the eyelids, general malaise, and decreased appetite. A urine and blood test helps to clarify the diagnosis and prescribe appropriate treatment. Its success will largely depend on how properly it will be observed by the patient.

Inflammation of the kidneys in children is necessarily subjected to inpatient treatment. After the course of treatment, repeated tests are performed, and if the main signs of the disease have disappeared, the patient is discharged home. Parents should double attention to the still immature child. During walks, avoid overcooling the body and overwork. If your feet get wet, you should immediately change shoes and keep warm. Cooling in combination with humidity is very dangerous, as it weakens the immune system and can lead to a relapse of the disease, and this is fraught with even more serious consequences.
