Nikita (Alexander Baluev) becomes a military man, Cyril (Alexei Zuev) becomes a theorist of Marxism, and the only daughter Nina, who plays the heroine of our article, prefers a career as a writer.

Budina plays the main role, the second wife of the Secretary General of the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks, Nadezhda Alliluyev.

Her fate was tragic. An affair with Stalin began in 1917, when she was only 16 years old, and the revolutionary only returned to the Russian capital from exile. The next year they got married. In the 1920s, they had two children - Vasily and Svetlana.

In November 1932, Alliluyeva committed suicide by firing a pistol at her heart. According to eyewitnesses, on the eve between her and her husband, another serious quarrel occurred.

The series tells in detail their story, which unfolds against the backdrop of key events in Russian history of the early 20th century. These are the two revolutions of 1917, the Civil War, the coming to power of Stalin.
