In the 70s - 80s. the whole Soviet Union watched with excitement as Znamensky, Tomin and their talented forensic expert Cybrit âclick like nutsâ even the most complex, complicated cases. Filming of the series "Investigators are Conducting Investigations", whose actors, by the way, have won all-Union fame, lasted 32 years. For such indicators, even the famous "Santa Barbara" will not catch up. What did the viewer like about this film and why did it become so popular?
âThe Investigation is Knownâ: general plan and idea
âExperts are conducting the investigationâ, the actors in which they recreated the truthful everyday life of the Moscow police, first appeared on the screens in 1971. Initially, the project was conceived as a series of detective films, each of which lasts almost an hour and a half. After the 22nd part of the film was released in 89, in 2002 it was decided to continue filming, during which two more episodes were completed.
The idea to create such a series came to mind to the Minister of Internal Affairs of the USSR Shchelokov, who wanted to use the film to make the image of the Soviet policeman more humane and popular among ordinary people. But, fortunately, the filmmakers were able to move away from the genre of ideological cinema, filled with stamps. The images of Znamensky, Tomin and Cybrit (and even the images of criminals) turned out to be extremely realistic and truthful.
To achieve this realism, the crew on each issue consulted with Lieutenant General Justice B. Viktorov.
Georgy Martynyuk as Znamensky
The film âInvestigators Are Conducting an Investigationâ, the actors in which they were selected with particular care, simply could not help becoming popular. Each of the performers of even the smallest role, to the smallest detail, thought out his own image, what can we say about Georgy Martynyuk, who played the main role - the investigator Znamensky.
Martynyukâs character meticulously and biasedly conducts any business that he is entrusted with, even if it is a banal interrogation of a tramp. Znamensky is very attentive to details and does not submit the case to the archive until the facts converge with each other, like a puzzle.
Such zeal could not go unnoticed, therefore, by the end of the film, the hero Martynyuk rose to the rank of colonel of justice. However, to open the case and put the guilty party at all costs is not the end in itself of Znamensky. Sometimes he acts humanely enough with his people under investigation, giving them a chance to maintain their dignity and self-esteem.
Leonid Kanevsky as Tomin
Until 1971, Leonid Kanevsky managed to play in more than 10 films, but the picture âExperts Conduct Investigationâ made him really famous. The actors, who faced the difficult task of getting used to the role of operatives of the MUR, were so drawn into this process that, for example, Kanevsky still celebrates police day as a personal holiday.
Leonid Kanevsky was to add a touch of adventurism to the trinity of protagonists in order to defuse the tense atmosphere that hovers around Znamensky. Alexander Tomin is a joker, he takes his work a little easier and always reserves the right to improvise. His favorite way to obtain information for the investigation is to constantly play small performances, pretending to be a plumber or a school friend of the suspect.
And although such a creative approach to search activities sometimes annoys colleagues, no one can blame Tomin for inefficiency - he always achieves his goal.
Elsa Lezhdey in the role of an expert Cybrit
Charming forensic expert Zinochka Cybrit is the decoration of the film âInvestigators Are Conducting Investigationsâ. The actors and the roles that they performed quickly won the sympathy of the viewers, but it was especially interesting to watch how a woman works in such a difficult sometimes aggressive environment.
A big plus of the image of Cybrit is that Zinochka, despite the nature of her work, has not lost her femininity: the character of Lezhdey constantly wears stylish dresses, heels and fashionable handbags. But at the same time, Cybrit is well versed in his work and often the data provided by her decides the outcome of the whole thing.
In some films (âBlackmailâ) Zinaida has to face the dangerous underworld, but Cybrit still manages to remain calm and resourceful, deciding the matter in her favor.
Unfortunately, Elsa Lezhdey died in 2001, so in the last two parts of the film she was replaced by Lidia Velezheva.
Actors Involved in Black Broker
Any performer of a more or less noticeable role in the series âExperts Conduct Investigationâ deserves special attention. The actors and the roles that they performed were so colorful and charming that the aftertaste after each movie watched remains throughout the day.
For example, in the episode "The Black Broker" Boris Ivanov got the main negative role. Boris Ivanov is an experienced actor, what can I say: he served in theaters almost from the age of 14, and since 61 he has actively acted in films. The role of the thief of social property - Shakhov - he was a success. Ivanov did not play some grotesque villain: his Shakhov was an ordinary person who loves pampering with friends, who loves his wife, but meanwhile has another addiction - to profit from the state.
The role of Shakhini, that is, Shakhovâs wife, was played by Lyudmila Bogdanova, who is well known for all the role of Margarita Khobotova in the Pokrovsky Gates.
Actors Involved in Your Real Name
The actors of the film âInvestigators are Investigatingâ from the episode âYour Real Nameâ are not inferior in their skill to colleagues from the first episode.
Especially charming is the crook Kowalski, who for his dexterous precise hands was nicknamed the âSurgeonâ. And again, it is not evil in its full appearance that appears before us, but only a person - cheerful, talented, who loves music and sings well. But this man, unfortunately, is used to living the way he is used to living, and fraud is the only way Kowalski can earn his living.
The role of a charming fraudster was embodied on the screens by Grigory Lampe, who is also known for the role of Professor Runge in âSeventeen Moments of Springâ.
Also in the episode actress Maria Andrianova (âThe Captain's Daughterâ), Igor Kashintsev (âPirates of the 20th Centuryâ) and Kirill Glazunov (âThe Hound of the Baskervillesâ) appeared.
Episode "Before the Third Shot": actors and roles

In this episode, a girl-inspector for minors, Zorina, performed by Anna Kamenkova (âYoung Wife,â âSofya Petrovnaâ) appears. Sympathy is clearly visible between Zorina and investigator Znamensky. It creates the illusion that their relationship can end with a wedding, but the girl is seriously injured at the end of the episode, and even mention of her in the series will not slip through.
In the role of the main villain - Cooper - made Peter Shcherbakov ("Lev Gurych Sinichkin", "Office Romance"). The actors of the series âInvestigators are Investigatingâ also accepted Leonid Kayurov, Sasha Simakin and Tatyana Nadezhdina into their friendly company of the 13th edition .
âInvestigators are experts. Arbitrator â- actors
âArbitratorâ was released in 2002, after a lengthy break in filming. Well-known heroes to the audience change their major epaulets to higher ranks: for example, Tomin becomes a colonel of Interpol, and Znamensky, with the rank of colonel, is now investigating financial fraud. Another business again brings together long-unseen friends.

The film "Pood of Gold" was released in 2002 and consists of 6 episodes. The plot of the final film revolves around the murder of citizen Uglova, whose son worked in gold mines. Investigator Kandelaki, who was charged with the case, justifiably believes that the death of the Corner is connected with the dark affairs of her son.
