Classical rock is a whole layer of musical culture of the second half of the 20th century. Stylish rhythmic music appeared in the early 50s from the so-called black blues. And since the black Negro blues is divided into several musical directions, one of them transformed into rock. It was rhythm and blues, the structure of which was perfectly suited for dynamic, expressive rock. Rock and roll originated in the United States and for about ten years did not go outside the country.
Elvis Presley - King of Rock and Roll
The new musical style needed performers, talented and always with an impressive appearance. This was the nineteen-year-old Elvis Presley, who with great success performed rock in open areas, and also recorded his songs at RCA Victor. He was a singer, as they say, from God, with a strong beautiful voice of a wide range. In addition to rock, Presley performed slow lyric compositions, such as "The refuge of a broken heart" or "Drowned in Love." But the main direction of his work was crazy rhythmic classical rock: "The Great Hunt for Love", "I am Stung", "She Left Me."

Almost simultaneously with Elvis, Chubby Checker, author and performer of a twist, a variety of rock, went to the concert venues. Thus, classical rock music replenished with a new direction. Then came a shake performed by Hank Ballard, as well as Gene Vincent’s songs, a mixture of rockabilly and ballad. At this time, overseas, in the UK, a young rock and roll singer, Cliff Richard, appeared. He began to rehash the songs of Presley and Checker, which had already become popular, but he did it in his own manner. The success of the Englishman was amazing, the classic rock in his performance received a special emotional coloring. Concerts were held only on an open stage, since not a single hall could accommodate hundreds of thousands of fans of American rock.

And finally, in 1960, in the English city of Liverpool , the epochal group The Beatles appeared. Strictly speaking, the style of the Beatles' performance did not reflect the traditions of rock, their music, rather, belonged to a variety of horns. But the four “Beatles” soared so high in the wake of the popularity of rock that few thought about the intricacies of her work. In addition, their repertoire included songs that represented classic rock: Rock-n-Roll Music, Honey Don't, and others. Hard Rock
In the sixties of the last century, rock smoothly passed from one phase to another, became multifaceted and diverse. The style of hard rock was significantly different from classic rock, it was characterized by the severity of arrangements and lengthy guitar parts, but the professionalism of the performers put hard rock in the front ranks of the musical preferences of the public of that time. The bands Black Sabath and Deep Purple, and later Nazareth and Led Zeppelin brought hard rock to a level of unprecedented popularity. The next stage in the development of classical rock was the heavy metal style as a continuation of hard rock. Stiffness in guitar solos was added, foreign classical rock became psychedelic.
