Anton Granovsky is a popular Russian writer, well known to fans of detective stories, science fiction and mysticism. The author created part of the books in a duet with his wife Eugenia, from which the works only benefited, became more complex, multifaceted and unpredictable.

Little is known about the author’s life. Anton Granovsky was born on December 25, 1975 in Altai in Russia. After graduating from high school, the future writer entered the philosophy department of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov. As a student, he worked as a security guard and even a locksmith in a car building depot, but he was soon able to get a job in a closer specialty: in journalism. For some time, Anton Granovsky worked as chief editor of an educational newspaper, and was a freelance journalist for Komsomolskaya Pravda, Russian Journal and other publications. He completed a training course at VGIK in the specialty "Directing".

Creation

The first book by Anton Granovsky was a mystical puzzle novel, "Self-portrait with Death or the Shadow of a Master," co-authored with his wife. In this work, the authors described the story of the brilliant Russian perfumer Heinrich Brokar and his perfect fragrance with a unique property - it could cause love. According to legend, the formula of perfumes was hidden in the famous painting of the Flemish artist Arnold Beklin. The descendants of the great perfumer were able to discover the secret of his creation, but found not at all what they hoped for. The book was published in 2006 and immediately fell in love with readers.

Next came the Detective Midnight series, which consisted of 25 action-packed novels about the journalist Gleb Korsak. The Lost Soul, one of the books in this series, is particularly popular. In the story, the main character finds out about the death of his uncle and goes to the city of Polessk, where he grew up. Mysterious and inexplicable events await Gleb, and a meeting with first love turns into a real nightmare. The Lost Soul captures the reader from the first pages and is read literally in one go.

The next cycle of novels is no less interesting. In 2009-2010, Granovsky’s project “Dead Place” was published. In the center of the storyline is the scandalous journalist Gleb Orlov, whom the editorial board sent on a business trip to the anomalous zone located in the Ural taiga. Mysteriously, the character is transferred in time and ends up in the distant past, where paganism flourishes, and werewolves, ghouls, and the like creatures lurk at every turn. Anton got the idea of ​​the plot while traveling to one of the zones that are really considered abnormal among local residents. The conductor told the writer that time here is unusual, and the place itself was described in ancient chronicles. Reflections on possible explanations of the phenomenon led to the creation of a whole series of mystical novels.

Fans of the mystic and detective fiction genre should read the Werewolf series of novels, which consists of four books and tells about experiments with the Time Machine. The series “Cruel Land” consists of two books and tells about events in the distant future. In 2014-2015 4 more novels of the author were published: “A Face in Dark Water,” “A Code from Another's Life,” “I Am Your Dream,” “Invisible Forces.”

Anton's wife, Eugene, is also a successful writer in the genre of mysticism, science fiction, horror and detective story. Her independent works are popular, and the spouses create part of the works together. Granovsky’s books are combined in the series “Midnight Detective” and “Professionals Investigate”.
