What comes to mind when mentioning the word "roll"? The very first thought is a confectionery product. As a filling - boiled condensed milk, jam or some kind of cream. However, now we are not talking about a sweet, but at the same time unusual and very tasty dish - a roll of mashed potatoes with minced meat.
Such an unusual dish is simply prepared and has an unusual taste. It is also worth noting that it is extremely satisfying. By the way, an interesting fact: a purely technically given dish is not quite a roll. Why this happens - learn further.
What is roll?
This name comes from the French rulade - collapse. This dish appeared in Europe. To be precise, Germany is called his homeland. The dish is a tortilla made from a piece of meat, inside of which the filling is wrapped. Traditionally, roll is usually made with products such as:
- vegetables;
- cheese;
- eggs
- mushrooms;
- meat of other varieties.
Before cooking, the dish is fixed with toothpicks, metal skewers or twine.

- 12 large potato tubers;
- cream 250 g;

- 500 ml of water;
- 150 g of cheese.
Cooking process
Wash and peel the potatoes. Halve and place in a pot of water. Add salt. Leave to boil. However, for the preparation of potato roll with minced meat, this component should be only half ready.
At the right time of cooking, drain the water from the pan. Add cream and leave to cook for another 10 minutes.

Necessary components:
- 500 g of large potato tubers;
- half a kilogram of minced meat;
- 100 g of flour;
- 1 chicken egg;
- vegetable oil.
Cooking
Wash the potatoes. Without removing the peel, send to cook until fully cooked. At the end of cooking, let the tubers cool, then peel off and grate on a coarse grater. Add spices, egg and sifted flour. To stir thoroughly.
Add salt and pepper and cold water to the minced meat. Stir until smooth.
Roll up a large sausage from the resulting potato dough. Cut into small pieces. Each of them form a cake. Next, to create potato rolls with minced meat, put the filling on one half of each piece. Potato roll with minced meat and mushrooms
Again a full roll, but with a more diverse filling. Important to remember:
- minced meat is allowed to use any depending on preferences;
- mushrooms must be strictly fresh, so the dish will get a pleasant and unusual taste.
Required Components:
- 1 kilogram of large potato tubers;
- 1 bunch of fresh herbs;
- 1 tbsp. l vegetable oil;
- 1 tbsp. l butter;
- 1 chicken egg;
- 1 bunch of green onions;
- 1 onion;
- 30 g of fresh mushrooms;
- 250 g of minced meat;
- spice.
Cooking process
Cut onions into half rings. Chop green onions.
Put minced meat in a pan. Add spices and water. Leave to simmer until fully cooked.
Rinse mushrooms, cut into thin slices, put in a pan and add water. Leave them to stew for half an hour. After this, add the previously prepared onion and hold the mixture in this state for another 10 minutes.
Add minced meat to the pan. Stir the contents, reduce the intensity of the fire and leave to simmer for about 10 minutes.
Rinse the potatoes. Peel and cut into medium slices, folded in a pan. Pour some water there. To salt. Leave the ingredient to cook until fully cooked.
Drain all the water from the dishes with the finished potatoes. Crush the contents to a pulp of even consistency. Then add the egg to the pan. Mix well.
Melt the butter and treat it with a pre-spread food wrap.
Put potatoes on the prepared surface. Flatten.
