What is a miracle?
Miracle (pronounce correctly, putting emphasis on the last syllable) - this is a dish that is cooked in a dry pan, and then smeared with butter or olive oil. To make the miracle soft and appetizing, for a while it is better to cover it with a bowl or a deep plate. A variety of fillings are placed inside the pie: pumpkin, potato, meat, cottage cheese, cheese or greens. The miracle is especially tasty when they are hot, but if a couple of pies remain the next day, do not worry, the miracle can be heated in a frying pan or microwave.

Pumpkin miracle recipe
To prepare a miracle, you need to knead the dough for pies. To do this, you need the following components:
- flour - 2 kg;
- water - 4 glasses;
- dry yeast - 20 g;
- salt.
In addition to the listed components for creating the filling, the following ingredients should be prepared:
- pumpkin - half the average vegetable;
- onion - 0.5 kg;
- ground black pepper.
Practical part
After preparing the necessary products, you can start cooking the miracle of pumpkin. To do this, knead the traditional yeast dough. Using dry yeast, warm water, salt and sifted flour. Of the 2 kg of flour indicated, it is not necessary to use all for kneading dough - leave a little on the powder. When the dough is ready, put it in a warm place for 45 minutes so that it fits a little.
While the dough is in a secluded place, you need to do the filling. The pumpkin must be washed, cut into medium sized pieces and grated. Chop the prepared onion and simmer in a pan until half cooked. In a bowl with grated pumpkin, add the fried onions, salt and ground pepper, mix.
The finished dough should be divided into small balls. Each ball must be thinly rolled into an oblong oval. Visually divide it into two parts, put the pumpkin filling on one. Cover the filling with the second half of the layer so that the result is a crescent. Close up the dough on the edges. Each subsequent ball must be rolled out and stuffed in the same way.
As you prepare the miracle, bake them in a pan. Serve the Dagestan dish with sour cream or butter, garnished with herbs.
Recipe with nuts and caraway seeds
To prepare a miracle of pumpkin with nuts and caraway seeds, you need to prepare the following products.
Dough:
- flour - 300 g;
- water - 150 ml;
- salt - half a teaspoon.
Filling:
- pumpkin - 750 g;
- walnuts - half a glass;
- onion - 1 pc.;
- salt - half a teaspoon:
- caraway seeds - 1 teaspoon.
Knead soft elastic dough, wrap it in a film or cover with a towel and leave for half an hour.
Peel cooked walnuts, finely chop and pour boiling water. For 25 minutes they need to stand so that a little water is absorbed and the nuts soften. Cut the onion into half rings and fry it in a pan until half cooked - until translucent. Then add the pumpkin grated with a coarse grater to the fried onion and let it simmer for several minutes over low heat. It is important not to overcook the pumpkin so that it does not have time to become mashed.
Drain the water from softened nuts and transfer to stewed vegetables. Grind caraway seeds in a mortar, together with ground pepper and salt, add to the filling, mix all the ingredients thoroughly.
Prepared dough should be divided into equal parts, from each ball roll a thin layer with a diameter of about 20-25 cm - focus on the size of the pan. On one half of the circle, lay out the prepared pumpkin filling, cover it with the second half and carefully close the edges. The result should be a neat crescent.
The pie is fried exclusively in a dry heated frying pan on both sides until spots of a pleasant brown color appear on the surface. The main thing is not to dry the pastries. After the miracle of pumpkin is ready, it should be put in a deep plate and greased with melted butter.
