This mixture is coated with half of the dough layer, covered with the second half. The edges are stuck together, pressed down with a fork for beauty - you get a curly rim. The baking sheet is spread with parchment, slightly sprinkled with water, a pie is placed on it, spread with an egg and sprinkled with poppy seeds. Currant cake prepared in this way is hidden in the oven, and after a third of an hour you can start drinking tea.

If you want to quickly prepare a dessert, but make the dough yourself and that the berries are whole, choose currant kefir pie. For him, two eggs are beaten with one and a half glasses of regular sugar and a bag of vanilla. A glass of kefir is added to the mixture, then a third kilo of flour with baking powder. To begin with, a soft but dense dough is kneaded. 150 grams of butter is ground with the same amount of sugar and a pack of vanillin. When the grains stop creaking, two yolks and one and a half cups of flour are sifted together with a bag of baking powder. The dough is kneaded to the desired condition and the shape is laid on it. Sides are necessarily made. For the filling, four yolks are whipped with half a glass of sugar, mixed with a half kilogram of mashed cottage cheese and two tablespoons of starch. Separately, with a pinch of salt, the whites are whipped and very carefully introduced into the mass. It is distributed by test. Blackcurrant can be used whole, or maybe in the form of mashed potatoes (then simply grind the berries with a blender). It is placed on top of the curd mass. The assembled currant pie is put in the oven for an hour, and it necessarily cools down before slicing.

Grated pie
No less interesting is the baking, constructed according to such a recipe. Two and a half cups of flour are sifted into a bowl with a spoon of baking powder. Softened oil is laid in there (200 gram pack). Separately combine two eggs and a glass with a hill of sugar. You do not need to whip them, just mix. Both masses are combined and kneaded to plasticity. The dough is divided in half, hidden in plastic bags and put in the freezer for an hour. The form is spread with parchment, one of the balls is rubbed into it with a grater, berries are distributed on the dough layer (a glass and a half), wake up with sugar and starch (both of which will go for 2-3 tablespoons). The second part of the dough is rubbed on top, and the currant pie is put into the oven for fifty minutes. It is decorated to the best of imagination. You can do nothing more - and so delicious and beautiful.
Citrus Fantasy
Do not forget that berries and fruits are amazingly combined with each other. Try to make an orange-currant pie - a recipe with a photo will help you with this. One and a half faceted glasses of sugar are ground with a pack of soft butter. Four eggs with five tablespoons of milk are whipped separately in a cup and added to the sugar-butter mixture along with a bag of vanilla sugar and a zest of one orange. After mixing, flour is poured (a little less than a pound) with a baking powder. A thick, but flowing dough is kneaded. A glass of currant is added to it and evenly distributed. While the currant cake is baking (it will take about forty minutes), the icing is prepared: an almost full glass of powdered sugar is whipped with four tablespoons of orange juice until it is completely homogeneous. When the cake has cooled, it is smeared with the composition and left for impregnation.

Currant pie in a slow cooker
For him there is a very original recipe. A glass of currant is filled with an equal volume of sugar and warms up for a third of an hour in baking mode. Get some semblance of jam, but with dense berries. When they have cooled, three eggs are driven into them, half a glass of non-fat (10%) sour cream is poured in, and the future dough is kneaded. Then a spoonful of soda is poured; as it begins to bubble - six tablespoons of flour. The dough is finally mixed and poured into a bowl. The timer is set for 65 minutes, the baking mode is selected. Unlike most pies, you don’t need to turn this over - it will bake perfectly too. Already finished, the currant pie is generously sprinkled with powdered sugar and decorated with left berries and almond flakes.
