Cherry wine: a homemade recipe in four variations

The classic raw material for wine, of course, is grapes. But it can be successfully replaced with berries. We suggest you make wine from cherries. The recipe is offered in four versions. Each of them is distinguished by its special composition and operating procedure.

Classic Cherry Wine: Recipe One

  • one liter of cherry juice;
  • half a liter of water;
  • three hundred grams of granulated sugar;
  • one hundred grams of raisins.

Cooking

  1. Sort the cherries, wash and squeeze the juice.
  2. Dissolve sugar in warm boiled water. Mix the resulting liquid with cherry juice and pour into a container three times larger in volume.
  3. Pour raisins in the same place (you do not need to wash it first). Cover the bottle with a special cap with a hole. Insert a small tube into it, lower the other end of which into a container of water.
  4. Fermentation will begin in two days. The bottle should be in a dark place at room temperature for about twenty days.
  5. Then the mass is filtered. This cherry wine recipe provides for two weeks to settle. The finished drink should precipitate and brighten.
  6. Pour the transparent part into bottles, seal and store in a cool place.

Cherry Lemon Wine: Recipe Two

Structure

  • three kilograms of cherries;
  • one and a half kilograms of sugar;
  • four liters of water;
  • two lemons.

  1. Wash the selected fruits and fill with boiling water. Then press the mass and leave for four days.
  2. After straining in the cherry mixture, add lemon juice and sugar.
  3. Pour everything into a container, which is covered with an ordinary rubber glove. Put in a warm, dark place for two weeks.
  4. It is necessary to periodically bleed off excess air that forms during fermentation.
  5. Carefully drain the upper part without the bottom thick mass. Let the mixture wander for another two weeks.
  6. Strain the wine through several layers of gauze and leave to infuse in a cool place for a month, closing it with a plastic lid.
  7. Pour over containers and lower them for storage into the basement or cellar.

Fortified Cherry Wine: Recipe Three

Structure

  • incomplete ten-liter bucket of berries;
  • two kilograms of sugar;
  • one and a half liters of water;
  • one liter of vodka.

  1. From ripe, washed berries, squeeze the juice. It should turn out about seven liters.
  2. Dissolve half the sugar in water and pour into a cherry liquid.
  3. Put the mass to roam in a warm place for a week.
  4. Strain the wine and add vodka.
  5. Soak the mixture for another five days, then filter, mix with the remaining sugar and pour into containers.
  6. The wine has a maroon color and astringent taste.

The fourth recipe for homemade wine made from cherries, apples and black currants

Structure

  • five kilograms of cherries;
  • two and a half kilograms of black currant;
  • three kilograms of sweet and sour apples with unhard flesh;
  • one and a half kilograms of sugar;
  • ten liters of water.

Cooking

  1. For apples, core, then pass them through a meat grinder. Pour into a mixture of three hundred grams of sugar and leave for a day.
  2. Make syrup from water and remaining sugar.
  3. To the apple mass, add mashed cherries and currants. Pour in the cooled syrup and, having mixed, place in a large bottle for fermentation, having made a special water lock.
  4. Wine will roam from two weeks to four. Strain and bottle the finished one.
