Robert Morgan Surrealism in a few works

Telling friends about a new hobby for the next series, you can stumble upon a wall of misunderstanding or, conversely, a violent enthusiastic reaction. However, not all creations of the cinema evoke such emotions. From other plots thrills, and I want to destroy any mention of them in any way. These include the films of Robert Morgan, a director who often himself was in the role of actor. What is so impressive in his work?

Life details

Thanks to the film "Robert Morgan: Four Short Films", which is an autobiographical, interesting details about his life became known. So, an uncle decides to show a horror movie to a 3-year-old boy, and this subsequently affected the psyche of the child. He grows closed, unsociable, loves disgusting insects for many. When Robert grows up, he enters the Surrey Institute, where he is most interested in animated films.

1997 is marked by the release of "The Man in the lower left corner of the photograph", recognized by critics and awarded prizes. Following this comes the “Cat with Human Hands”, which is based on the dream once seen by his sister. From this moment, Robert Morgan receives recognition and a growing number of awards. He understood in which direction he needed to develop as a director and screenwriter.

"Bobby Ye"

Creation List

After the above, “Separation” came out, on the display of which the viewer loses consciousness. This "compliment" pleases Robert Morgan, and the next work becomes a sensation. "Monsters" depart from the usual style of the author of the idea. This is not an animated film, where again the plot lays down relations with my sister and childhood memories. What can I say - it was difficult for the boy.

Subsequent creations:

  • “Bobby Ye” is pure surrealism without an admixture of plot, the viewer must build it himself with the help of allusions that are in the short film.
  • "Zone of silence", created based on the novel by Desmond Lauden.
  • “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies” - the story of Jane Austen is suddenly filled with zombies.
  • “Happy Tooth” is a family film that breaks out of a series of horrors.
  • "The ABC of Death 2" - Robert Morgan cameraman, the killings abound in detail and are arranged alphabetically.

So, the author has quite a few works, but all of them are distinguished by their originality and special atmosphere. Why?

Style

Cartoons by Robert Morgan have quite specific features: surrealism, short screen time and content that is specifically designed not for children. Shapeless objects appear on the screen for a second, from which you can guess that they were once parts of the body. Puppet heads, dumb characters, victims cramping - all this creates an atmosphere that makes you want to turn off the video. However, something forces us to look further and not turn off the pictures that are unpleasant to the eye.

Thus, in a few tens of minutes, Robert Morgan captures the hearts of nightmare lovers and fans. The genius in creating disgusting works that completely irrationally attract viewers is precisely that talent that many people dream of owning, but only a few have and use it.
