Another tip: in the process of creating a component, you should use short-grain rice. Compared to other varieties, its structure becomes more sticky. This is due to the greater amount of starch contained in this form.

Important! Groats must not be washed before cooking. It is clear that this is necessary to remove dust and excess starch. However, this element is extremely important in the preparation of glutinous rice.

Now you need to prepare the mango:

  • Peel it and remove the bone, cutting the fruit into two halves.
  • Cut both parts into thin slices.

  • Arrange sticky rice with coconut milk in plates.
  • Add the mango slices. You can side or top. In the latter case, it is better to make a fan shape.

  • Close the dishes with a lid. Reduce heat to a minimum and cook for 15 minutes.

Important! After adding cereals, the water will cease to boil. Putting the lid on is only necessary when the process resumes.

  • Boil contents until all liquid is absorbed into the grains.
  • In a separate saucepan, smaller, combine 60 milliliters of rice vinegar, 40 grams of sugar powder and a teaspoon of salt. To mix everything.
  • Place the sauce on the stove. Set the fire on medium and mix until sugar is completely dissolved. This component will make the rice sticky, as in the original recipes.
  • After that, remove the dishes from the stove and cool the contents.
