The Shelter (2007)

The Bunker (2011)
Some Spanish thriller films have an unusual presentation of the story. This can be seen in the picture of Andres Bais. A young and successful conductor named Adrian lives in a luxurious mansion in Colombia with his girlfriend. Once, after returning home after work, the guy finds a message from Belen, in which she says that she is leaving him and asking him never to look for her.
Time passes, the conductor stopped suffering and is ready for a new relationship. He meets Fabiana, a waitress in a local bar. Passion flares up between the guys, and the girl agrees to move to his house. But a calm life does not wait for her there, Fabiana begins to notice strange things happening in the mansion.
The Abduction (2016)
The main thing that unites almost all Spanish thrillers is an unexpected plot denouement. A car stops on the track. The driver gets out, picks up a bloodied boy, puts him in the salon and takes him to the hospital. Detectives are trying to ask the guy what happened to him, but he is too afraid to tell everything. Only Patricia de Lucas, Victor’s mother, can talk him. It turns out that an unknown man abducted him near school, but the boy remembered his signs very well. And now Patricia, a well-known lawyer who has helped criminals to escape from prison more than once, wants to punish the attacker in all severity of the law.
A man compiled by Victor quickly finds a man, but the evidence proving his guilt is not enough. Therefore, he is released. Then the woman, fearing a re-assassination attempt on her son, begins to follow him, and then decides on a desperate act.
The Invisible Guest (2016)
Only Spanish thrillers-detectives can be more interesting than Spanish thrillers. The film Oriola Paolo talks about the successful entrepreneur Adrian Doria, who is accused of killing a lover. The most interesting thing is that everything points to him, because the man was taken right at the crime scene. True, Adrian himself believes that he did not kill the girl or, at least, does not remember this.
Moreover, he suggests that he was framed, so he turns to the best Spanish lawyer. Virginia Goodman has not lost a single thing in her entire career, so the man expects to get off with a slight fright. Only to obtain positive results will he have to be extremely honest with her, which he cannot promise. After all, Adrian has something to hide from justice.
Wild Stories (2015)
Some particularly successful Spanish thrillers in their content have no analogues at all. The next film describes the life stories of several people at once, whom certain circumstances pushed to the path of cruelty and violence. Once they offended each of them, and now they want revenge.
For example, a little-known composer is unlikely to like the mockery of his work. And the waitress, when meeting a man who has deprived her of her father, can justifiably fly off the coils. Just like a happy bride who cannot forgive her husband for treason. Like a driver whom another driver did not allow to overtake. All of them are equally hungry for revenge, but each of them has different ways of serving it.
“Without Return” (2010)
Some Spanish thrillers describe the stories of people facing a difficult choice. In the film by Miguel Cohan, the stories of three families unfamiliar are intertwined. One day, Pablo goes on a bike ride through the night city with a folder of his father's documents. At the same time, two more people were driving along the same road - a young guy named Matthias and a loving family man Federico.
Pablo drops the paper and stops to pick it up. Federico reacts on time and only slightly damages the bike. But Matthias knocks the guy to death, and then hides. The police are arresting Federico, now he faces a prison sentence. Matthias understands that his act destroys the life of an innocent person. But will he dare to confess his deed?
“Thesis” (1996)
Finishing to describe the Spanish thrillers (the best), let us dwell on the film directed by Alejandro Amenabar. Student of the Madrid Institute, Angela Marquez, writes a thesis. The purpose of the work is to study the so-called snuff videos, short films on which scenes of violence are shown.
During the preparation of the material, the girl finds a terrible record on which she recognizes her friend, who disappeared some time ago. Having begun the investigation, Angela concludes that this is not the first death of a student. Someone shoots such videos right in the building of the institute.
