Lamb with vegetables - cooking methods

Lamb with vegetables and prunes

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes - 6-7 pieces;
  • Prunes - 120 g;
  • Lamb (loin) - 1.2 kg;
  • Greens;
  • Parsley root;
  • Allspice, salt;
  • Bay leaf;
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons

Lamb must be chopped into equal pieces of a small size. Peel the potatoes, then cut into quarters. Carrots must also be peeled, thoroughly washed and cut into circles. Now put the meat in a pan and pour about 2.5 liters of water into it, after which you need to add salt, bay leaf, pepper, parsley root. Boil all this, then simmer over low heat for an hour. After this time, remove parsley and bay leaf from the pan.

Now add chopped potatoes to the broth. At the same time, we heat the frying pan with oil and fry the carrots. Then add it to the meat and potatoes in the pan. Cook vegetables with meat until they are ready. Meanwhile, rinse the prunes and chop coarsely. Add it to the meat with vegetables and cook for a few more minutes. Then remove the pan from the heat and let it brew for a while, the lamb with vegetables and prunes is ready! The dish is spread on plates and served hot.

Lamb with vegetables in a cauldron

For cooking you will need:

  • Lamb - 550 g;
  • Vegetable oil;
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon of tea;
  • Celery - 2 stalks;
  • Onion - a pair of pieces;
  • Canned Tomatoes - 450 g;
  • Potato - 800 g;
  • Turnip - 3 pieces;
  • Carrots - a few pieces;
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon;
  • Sugar - 1 teaspoon;
  • Green peas (frozen can be used) - 350 g;
  • Lemon zest - 2 tablespoons of tablespoons.

First you need to wash the lamb and dry it with a towel. Then put the meat in a heated cauldron with oil (5 l) and fry on all sides. In this case, lamb must be sprinkled with salt, pepper and spices. Now remove the meat from the cauldron and place chopped celery stalks and chopped onion in it. When the vegetables are fried, add the meat again. Now place the tomatoes in a cauldron, pour the broth and boil. After that, simmer everything for about 25 minutes over medium heat.

In the meantime, you need to cut the turnips and potatoes into slices and add them to the cauldron. Stew vegetables with lamb until everything is cooked. While the dish is stewing, you need to mix flour and water (2 tablespoons) in a small bowl and pour this mixture into the lamb. Then add the peas and simmer for about 7 minutes. Lemon zest must be ground with a blender. Before serving, mutton with vegetables is sprinkled with lemon zest and herbs. Enjoy your meal!

Lamb with tomatoes

To prepare this dish you will need the following products:

  • Lamb with bone - 1-2 kg;
  • Tomatoes - 400 g;
  • To prepare the marinade:
  • Honey - 60 g;
  • Soy sauce - 100 g;
  • Garlic - a few cloves;
  • Greens;
  • Carrots - a couple of pieces;
  • Onion - a few pieces;
  • Capsicum - 1 piece;
  • Salt;
  • Vegetable oil.

Rinse all vegetables thoroughly and then cut into cubes or slices of approximately the same size. Now they need to be fried in vegetable oil for 5-7 minutes. Then add chopped garlic. Put the fried vegetables aside, as they will be served at the very end together with the meat cooked in the oven.

Lamb must be divided into parts and mixed with all the components described above for the preparation of the marinade. Meat should be marinated for 18 minutes. To do this, you need to grate the lamb well with the cooked marinade.

When the lamb is well marinated, put the pieces of meat on the board and place the chopped tomato rings on them. Now cover with baking film or foil and wrap.
