In 2012, the Russia-1 TV Channel was the first to broadcast the series The Absolute Daughter. Actors Nikita Zverev and Julia Mayboroda played the main roles in it. Why is a multi-part film shot under the patronage of the Russia-1 TV channel so extravagant? And what life troubles did the protagonists have to face?
The creators of the series. Short story
The series “The Funky Daughter” was shot by Ankor in March 2012. The director of the comedy melodrama was Sergey Bystritsky, who had previously worked on the films Autumn Detective and Death by Testament.
The script for the multi-part film was written by Aljbeth Campion. The screenwriter also worked on screenplay for the projects “Beloved Casanova Women” and “Looking for You”. Nikolai Smirnov (“Diamonds of Stalin”) worked as a cameraman on the set of the film “The Curly Daughter”.
Actors Y. Mayborod and N. Zverev entered the main cast. Their ensemble was supplemented by Sergey Batalov, Leonid Okunev, Yuri Nazarov and Lyudmila Maltseva.
The plot of the picture is quite unusual. Parents send little Denis Rozhkov to live with their grandparents, while they themselves understand family troubles. However, the boy’s father has an accident and dies, and his mother soon comes to the old Rozhkovs and threatens to take away her grandson.
Since no court will allow grandparents to take custody of a child with a sane and healthy mother, the Rozhkovs come up with another clever plan: they decide to marry a daughter-in-law for someone from the district so that she forever remains with her grandson by their side.

Julia Mayboroda began her acting career in 2005, playing Hydrangea Beauharnais in “Adjutants of Love”. Then, the novice performer got a couple of supporting roles in low-budget series.
The first major role went to Mayboroda in the melodrama Black Goddess. The actress also played Maya in the film “By the Law of Attraction” and Dasha in the action movie “Kill the Snake”. Then there were shootings in the multi-part project “The Absolute Daughter-in-Law”.
Actors Zverev Nikita and Mayboroda Julia played a typical story on the screens. Their heroes are complete opposites. Therefore, when they meet, they do not immediately penetrate each other with warm feelings. But a number of circumstances force the main characters to reconsider their relationship to each other, and they remain together.

In the series “The Funky Daughter-in-law”, Nikita Zverev played a simple village guy - a neighbor of the old Rozhkovs named Zhenya. In the course of the development of events, Zhenya Zavyalova has a sympathy for the heroine of Julia Mayboroda, which then turns into a serious feeling. However, it is not easy to establish a relationship with a whacky city girl.
Nikita Zverev is known to the viewer for numerous series and films: “Shadow Boxing”, “The Talisman of Love”, “Late Repentance” and others.
Minor role performers
Actors of the series “The Good-in-law Daughter” Leonid Okunev and Lyudmila Maltseva embodied on the screens the image of Denis Rozhkov’s grandparents. Yuri Nazarov played the role of the Rozhkov’s neighbor and the father of Zhenya Zavyalov. The role of little Denis went to Ivan Shmakov.
