Now no one will tell you the exact time when such cookies appeared in home notebooks for recipes. It was baked by our grandmothers and even great-grandmothers. The hedgehog cookie recipe was a dessert recipe passed from generation to generation. However, this is not surprising.

The pastries are tasty, and it uses a fairly standard set of ingredients, which existed in most cases in any home. Combine the oil mixture and the liquid part of the dough. Mix thoroughly and put in the refrigerator for about fifteen minutes.

During baking, the products will not rise too much. Leave them a centimeter on each side so that they do not stick together. Perhaps someone has special stencils at home, then you can use them. And you can cut the rolled shortcrust pastry into triangles and then decorate them, make them look like funny hedgehogs.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and set the cookie sheet inside. After 10-15 minutes, remove the finished baking.
Cookies in small crispy balls
The next recipe is a bit more complicated - these are the βHedgehogsβ cookies, rolled in crispy balls of rice flour (crispy). Balls can be bought at many stores. You can choose from chocolate or white. Instead, you can also use corn flakes, sticks or balls (from a breakfast cereal), previously grinding these flakes.

Even for the decor of finished products, you can use chopped nuts (any). Also interesting is the idea of ββwaffle chips. Flight of fancy is unlimited.

Ingredients for Cookies
Before you start baking, make sure that you have all the necessary ingredients:
- Margarine or butter - 50 grams.
- Sugar - 1 incomplete glass.
- Chicken egg - 1 piece.
- Baking powder - half a teaspoon.
- Salt is a small pinch.
- Vanilla Sugar - Half the bag. If you use pure vanillin, it will be enough to take it on the tip of the knife.
- 190 grams of flour.
- 100 grams of rice balls for deboning. You can use what is described in the paragraph on decorating cookies "Hedgehogs."
How will we bake
Margarine (butter) is removed in advance from the refrigerator so that it softens well. After the butter has become soft, rub it with sugar. You can do this with a spoon or fork - to whom it is more convenient. You can use the mixer at low speed.
Add salt, vanillin and an egg to sugar with butter. Beat the ingredients until the cream mass is twenty seconds.
Introduce into the dough half the norm of flour, previously sifted and mixed with baking powder. Finishing the dough, introduce the remaining flour and mix again. The result is a soft, elastic dough that does not stick to your palms. If this consistency could not be achieved, you can introduce a little more flour. It is worth being careful at this moment. If you overdo it with its quantity, then the dough may come out too steep. Sticking Crispi to it will be a problem.
Wrapped in polyethylene dough we place in the refrigerator for thirty minutes. Lightly grease a baking sheet or cover with baking paper. Fill the plate with crispy balls.
We take out the dough from the refrigerator and, tearing the pieces from the total mass, we sculpt the balls. The size of the resulting balls should be no more than the size of a walnut. Roll the balls in topping (crispy, wafer crumbs, nuts) and lay them on a baking sheet. The distance between the workpieces is at least 2-3 centimeters.
Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about half an hour. Done!
