Goulash is a popular Hungarian dish made on the basis of pork or beef. It is pieces of meat stewed with spices and vegetables. In today's article, we will figure out how to cook goulash in a slow cooker.
Basic recommendations
Properly made goulash is something averaged between a thick rich soup and a second course, consisting of approximately equal amounts of meat and vegetables. To create it, it is advisable to use fresh beef or veal. But if necessary, they are allowed to be replaced with pork and even chicken. Some cooks, before cooking goulash in a slow cooker, pickle meat in pomegranate juice or red wine.
Also among the mandatory components of this dish is the liquid component. It can be ordinary water, vegetable or meat broth. The tomato paste recommended for use can be replaced with adjika, ketchup or fresh tomatoes. And as spices are usually used basil, lemon balm, sage, dried dill, paprika, garlic and ground pepper.
With beef and potatoes
Those who have not yet decided what to feed their family deliciously, we advise you to pay attention to the goulash recipe discussed below. In the multicooker you get a very satisfying universal dish, which is well suited for both daytime and evening meals. To do this, you will need:
- 500 g boneless beef.
- 6 potatoes.
- 3 tomatoes.
- Onion head.
- Glass of water.
- 3 cloves of garlic.
- 2 bell peppers.
- 2 bay leaves.
- 1 tsp ground paprika.
- Half a pod of hot pepper.
- Salt, olive oil and herbs.
Shredded onions are passer in a greased multicooker tank. As soon as it changes color, paprika, chopped meat and bay leaves are added to it. All this is filled with water and stewed for about an hour and a half. At the end of the designated time, slices of potatoes, cubes of bell pepper and slices of tomatoes are spread to the softened beef. Goulash with gravy of sour cream and tomato will be one of your family's favorite dishes. To create it, you will need:
- 500 g boneless pork.
- 4 tbsp. l fresh sour cream.
- 3 tbsp. l tomato paste.
- 2 tbsp. l flour.
- 2 large onion heads.
- Large carrot.
- Lean oil (for frying).
- Water, salt, herbs and spices.
To cook a delicious pork goulash, in a slow cooker greased with refined oil, washed and chopped meat is fried. As soon as it is covered with a golden brown crust, onion half rings, carrot cubes, crushed garlic, salt and seasonings are added to it. Ten minutes later, flour is sent there and they wait another quarter of an hour. At the final stage, the contents of the device are poured with a sauce consisting of tomato paste, sour cream and a glass of water. With chicken and vegetables

- 600 g of beef pulp.
- Large onion.
- 30 g of fat sour cream.
- 30 g of French mustard.
- 30 g of tomato paste.
- 1 liter of boiled water.
- Lean oil.
- Salt, powdered paprika, flour and lavrushka.
To cook beef goulash, in a slow cooker greased with vegetable oil, fry pieces of meat pre-marinated in a mixture of mustard, paprika and salt. After a quarter of an hour, half the onion rings are poured there. After just five minutes, all this is supplemented with flour, spices, sour cream and tomato paste. With ginger and zucchini
This recipe will also fall into the personal collection of owners of the multicooker. Pork goulash made using this appliance has a rich taste and bright aroma. To prepare such a dish, you will need:
- 700 g lean meat cuts.
- Young thin-skinned zucchini.
- Medium-sized carrot.
- Fleshy bell peppers.
- Clove of garlic.
- 3 tbsp. l soy sauce.
- 1 tbsp. l grated ginger.
- 1 tbsp. l Sahara.
- 1 tsp potato starch.
- 150 ml of fresh broth.
- Salt and refined oil.
Washed and chopped meat is fried in a greased multicooker tank. As soon as it is browned, slices of vegetables, salt, crushed garlic, spices, sugar, soy sauce and starch diluted in broth are added to it. - 1.5 cups of dry beans.
- 70 g ghee.
- 4 onion heads.
- 2 tbsp. l tomato paste.
- 6 sweet fleshy peppers.
- 4 cloves of garlic.
- Water, salt, caraway seeds, marjoram, allspice and red pepper.
Pre-washed, dried and chopped meat is fried in melted butter. As soon as an appetizing crust appears on it, chopped onion, crushed garlic, strips of sweet pepper, smoked sausages and boiled beans are added to it. All this is salted, seasoned with spices, supplemented with tomato paste, poured with a small amount of water and covered with a lid. Prepare goulash in a slow cooker, included in the "Extinguishing" mode. As a rule, two hours is enough to make the meat and vegetables soft.
With beef and tomatoes
A dish made according to the method described below consists of lean meat and a large amount of vegetables. Therefore, it turns out not only tasty, but also healthy. To prepare it, you will need:
- 1 kg of chilled beef.
- 300 g ripe red tomatoes.
- 2 large onion heads.
- 2 juicy carrots.
- 3 cloves of garlic.
- A bunch of greens, drinking water, salt, vegetable oil and spices.
Pre-washed and thoroughly dried meat is stripped of the films, cut into small pieces and fried in a greased multicooker tank. As soon as an appetizing crust appears on its surface, circles of carrots and half rings of onion are poured onto it. After half an hour, slices of peeled tomatoes, salt and any aromatic seasonings are added there. All this is poured with a small amount of drinking water and covered with a lid.
