It can be prepared in many ways. However, wanting to surprise everyone with their skill, some housewives go the hard way. But there is a fairly simple way to prepare a salad with squid and Korean carrots, which is as good as taste and benefit in sophisticated culinary delights. This will require:

  • fresh squid carcass weighing 400 grams;
  • 4 ordinary carrots;
  • 1 packet of spices (for Korean carrots);
  • some salt;
  • 10 grams of sugar;
  • 35 grams of olive oil;
  • 15 grams of 9% vinegar.

It all starts with product preparation:

  1. Remove the skin from the squid carcass, and then remove all the insides. Only meat should remain. Dip the peeled pulp in a pot with boiling water. As soon as the water boils again, wait a couple of minutes and immediately remove the cooked squid. He himself will reach a state of readiness while he cools down.
  2. Cut the cooled pulp into thin chips.
  3. Peel and grate the carrots on a special grater (the stores are full of devices for making Korean carrots). Add remaining components and mix well.
  4. Combine both products and let the finished dish brew.

For those who like more spicy dishes, a salad with calamari and Korean carrots can be prepared in a slightly different way. The principle remains the same, but the set of source products changes somewhat:

  • 600 grams of squid;
  • 1 large onion;
  • 3 cloves of garlic;
  • 3 large carrots;
  • ground pepper mixture (black and red);
  • salt;
  • 3 tablespoons of soy sauce;
  • sugar;
  • any vegetable oil;
  • teaspoon of 70% vinegar.

The cooking process is similar to the previous one:

  1. Boiled squid for 3 minutes in boiling water, and then chop in the form of straws. Pour them with soy sauce and leave for half an hour.
  2. Grate the carrots in the form of Korean straws and add vinegar, sugar and salt to it.
  3. Fry the onion chopped in half rings in oil.
  4. Skip the garlic through a special press.
  5. Collect all products in a deep bowl (including still hot onions), mix and leave for 3 hours.

If you can’t wait long, you can eat the finished dish without waiting for the set time. This salad will not get worse.

If guests are on the doorstep

If time is short, squid with Korean carrots can be made even easier. This does not mean that the dish will turn out wrong or not tasty. Just in the recipe you need to leave only the most important products: for 5 small squid carcasses, take 4 medium carrots and a package of dressing (for Korean carrots).

Cooking method:

  1. Peel the squid, and boil the whole meat in salt water. After 3 minutes, throw it in a colander and rinse under the tap. Cut cooled carcasses in the form of chips or straws.

  • 300 grams of squid;
  • 1 avocado;
  • 4 tablespoons of boiled rice;
  • 150 grams of iceberg lettuce;
  • 1 onion;
  • 100 grams of finished Korean carrots;
  • soy sauce;
  • mayonnaise (or vegetable oil).

And for the marinade:

  • 2 tablespoons 9% vinegar;
  • a teaspoon of salt;
  • 1 ½ tablespoons of sugar;
  • slightly ground pepper.

The dish is prepared as follows:

  1. Cut onion into half rings and pour hot marinade. After 5 minutes, the liquid can be drained.
  2. Boil squids, cool, and then cut into thin strips (or rings).
  3. Finely chop or grate the carrots.
  4. Boiled rice should be slightly damp.
  5. Salad to tear hands.
  6. Gently peel the avocado, remove the stone, and chop the pulp arbitrarily.

  • 300 grams of white cabbage;
  • 1 cucumber;
  • 2 tomatoes;
  • 1 jar of canned squid;
  • greens (dill, onion and parsley);
  • salt;
  • pepper;
  • vegetable oil (or mayonnaise).

The secret of cooking:

  1. Finely chop the cabbage, add salt and a little crush manually.
  2. Wash and chop tomatoes with cucumbers at will (as you like).
