More than twenty years ago, all housewives and young girls from the former Soviet Union, clinging to the screens, were impatiently waiting for the end of the Mexican long-playing series “Wild Rose”: the actors of the soap opera played a touching story in front of the audience about how a girl from the street suddenly turned out to be the daughter of noble gentlemen. Who played the main roles in this melodrama and how did the film end?
Wild Rose: actors. Veronica Castro as Rose
Veronica Castro began her career with a nude photo shoot in Caballero Magazine. But then, at the sixteen-year-old model, other talents began to open up: she began to try herself in cinema, and also seriously began to sing. As a result, Veronica Castro played one of the main roles in the sensational series “The Rich Cry,” as well as recorded several albums.
The series “Wild Rose”, whose actors and roles for a long time will be remembered by impressive viewers, made Veronica Castro a real world star. Moreover, the actress recorded the title soundtrack for this film.
The heroine of Veronica is an immediate girl named Rosa. She spent her youth in a poor neighborhood, playing with street boys. Many years later, the girl suddenly learns that she is the daughter of wealthy gentlemen. Rosa tries to take her rightful place in society, but her freedom-loving disposition makes itself felt from time to time and causes shock to the secular beau monde.
Wild Rose: actors and roles. Irma Lozano as Flying
Irma Lozano, who played a key role in the Mexican telenovela, began her career in theatrical productions. In 1963, Irma first appeared in the soap opera and since then has not left the television screens. In the Soviet Union, Losno is known not only for the series “Wild Rose”, but also for the melodrama “Yesenia”, where the actress got the role of the frivolous blonde Luisa.

In the film "Wild Rose" actors Irma Lozano and Veronica Castro play mother and daughter. The flight performed by Irma in the story was the daughter of noble gentlemen. Her parents never forgave the girl that she had a romantic relationship with their driver. The de Mendisabal family did not even want to hear about marriage with a driver. However, the child from Pedro Polet nevertheless decided to leave. Once, a terrible scandal erupted in the house of de Mendisabal: the woman’s parents demanded that she surrender her illegitimate child to a shelter. During the clarification of the relationship, Rosa's father was killed, and Polet was so scared that she gave her child to the maid and ordered that she no longer appear in the house. So Rosa found a foster mother and ended up with her in the quarter for the poor.
Magda Guzman as Thomas
In the series “Wild Rose,” actors Irma Lozano and Magda Guzman played not only mistress and subordinate, but also friends. The maid Thomas, played by Guzman, always supported Flight and wished her well. When a tragic action took place in the house of de Mendisabal, Thomas took the little Rose and disappeared from sight to protect the child. Over time, the girl began to call a good woman her mother.
Magda Guzman starred in many telenovelas. The most famous of them are the television series "Nobody but You" and "Usurper." Guzman also took part in the series Esenia, which was released on Mexican screens in 1970.
