Turkey boiled pork in the oven is a fairly versatile dish. It can be consumed with a side dish or as a snack.
This dish is rich in protein and contains virtually no carbohydrates. Ideal for those who follow their diet and health! Tasty and healthy!
Boiled pork: calories
To cook this dish, as mentioned above, turkey fillet will be used. This meat was selected for two reasons:
- it is juicy (compared to chicken breast);
- due to the low calorie content of turkey, the dish becomes dietary.
Calorie boiled pork (per 100 grams):
- 233 kcal
- proteins - 16.4 grams,
- fats - 18.3 grams,
- carbohydrates - 1 gram.
Ingredients
- Turkey fillet - about 800 grams.
- One medium carrot.
- Half the head of garlic.
- A mixture of different peppers - 0.5 tablespoon.
- Salt - about 8 grams.
- Vegetable oil (refined) - 10 grams.
- Soy sauce - 10 grams.
- Provencal herbs (basil, oregano, thyme) - a teaspoon.
You can use any seasonings to your taste. For example, if you like spicy, you can add a little curry.
Cooking
- Dice the carrots. Each clove of garlic is cut into four parts and dipped in salt.
- The meat must be cut with a knife and stuffed with carrots and garlic.
- The turkey should be pulled with a thread (preferably culinary) so that as a result the product takes the desired shape.
- Now you need to prepare the marinade as follows: mix spices, soy sauce and vegetable oil in one dish.
- Place the meat already pulled by the thread in the dish. Leave the turkey to marinate for about two hours.
- Turn on the oven 180 Β° C in advance. At the end of the pickling, send the turkey meat to be baked.
- Prepare the dish for about an hour. It is important not to overexpose the turkey, otherwise it may turn out to be dry.
Note
- If boiled pork is cooked on a baking sheet, it is recommended to pour juice on turkey every 5-10 minutes, which will be allocated from meat during baking. You can also water the boiled pork with the remaining marinade. So you do not let the meat dry.
- An ideal option would be if you bake boiled pork in a sleeve or foil. In this case, it is not necessary to water the meat with juice or marinade.
The finished dish can be cut into pieces and serve. Homemade boiled pork from turkey will perfectly replace sausage. The product can be used for sandwiches or as slices.
Boiled pork goes well with a side dish: with buckwheat, rice, fresh vegetables or potatoes.
The taste of the dish will reveal even more horseradish, mustard, milk or berry sauces.
