Pork in a pot with potatoes and mushrooms: the best recipes

One of the most delicious and not requiring constant attention cooks ways to cook meat is pork in a pot (with potatoes and mushrooms, for example). The key to successful cooking is to correctly mix the various components in the containers and make sure that they do not burst. But this, in principle, is quite simple.

How to achieve success

There are few rules, and compliance with them does not require any effort.

  1. So that the pots with pork in the oven do not burst, you need to put them in a cold oven, and only then heat it.
  2. If it is necessary to add water or broth in the middle of the process, then the liquid, on the contrary, should be hot.
  3. When the pork in the pot with potatoes and mushrooms is ready, it should either be left to cool directly in the oven, or put on a cutting board or wooden stand.
  4. In an unopened pot, the top layer is always ventilated. Therefore, it is usually made from succulent products - tomato or onion. But in most recipes it is still advised to close the dishes - with a lid, a dough cake or foil.

Whether to pre-fry meat is a matter of taste. Many people think that raw it is better absorbed by all aromas; other cooks object that it turns out closer to boiled.

Thanks to small tricks, pork in a pot with potatoes and mushrooms according to this recipe is surprisingly tender. A pound of meat is cut into small slices - and not fried, but mixed with the sticks of two pickled cucumbers. Two onions and two carrots are chopped and lowered in sunflower oil. A third of a kilogram of any mushrooms is not chopped too thinly, but not coarsely, and combined with chopped dill and three crushed (rather than crushed) garlic cloves. Ten potatoes are cut into strips, like fries. The components are laid in the following sequence:

  • meat with cucumbers ;
  • frying;
  • mushrooms with herbs;
  • potato.

Salt and pepper, add broth (not to the top), fat sour cream is laid on top and grated cheese is poured. The dishes are covered with lids, and the pork in a pot of potatoes and mushrooms is placed in the oven for about an hour. If you are already a little bored with pork in a pot with potatoes and mushrooms, you can build a more complex dish. It is not subject to pre-treatment of any ingredient. Putting the pot like this:

  1. pieces of meat;
  2. circles of tomato;
  3. green beans, cut in half;
  4. eggplant cubes
  5. quarters of green peppers;
  6. shallots (whole or halves);
  7. tomatoes again;
  8. potato slices;
  9. not thin plates of mushrooms;
  10. tomatoes again.

Next, salt, pepper, chopped dill, a piece of oil - and a little water. In Turkey, this dish is cooked in a large pot for two hours; our housewives adapted the recipe for small ones - and they will stay in the stove for about an hour.

Spicy pork

Very tasty and unusual it turns out roast in pots with pork, if you add prunes to it. The meat must be pre-fried. It will again be the first layer in the pots; having spread the pork over them, they immediately pepper, salt, cover with rather thick plates of potatoes, pour water (very little) and put in the oven for half an hour. While the fries are languishing, two onions are cut into rings or their halves and roasted; upon reaching the blush, a spoonful of flour is poured and mixed. Mushroom slices are separately fried (grams per 700 meat - a third kilo), combined with quarters of a half glass of prunes and onions. This mixture is laid out in pots, poured with sour cream on top - and for another half hour in the oven.
