Who is Diana Baboshina?
"Master Chef" - a biography of ordinary Ukrainians like Diana. Once she came to the casting of the project and became a member of the fourth season, which lasted from August 27 to December 24, 2014. For several months, Diana tried to break through to the finals, cooked, salted, boiled, crushed and ground.
Some viewers thought that she was well-milled only with her tongue, but enlivened the project, giving it a touch of scandal. Many frankly did not like her for her audacity and sharp tongue. Some were more interested in whether Diana had real eyebrows or was it a tattoo.
The girl continued the competition, remaining shocking and scandalous, standing out from other participants, if not culinary achievements, then behavior. Why did she need this?
Diana Baboshina, whose biography had previously been typical of most Ukrainians, came to the MasterShef project to “look at people and show themselves,” as she herself put it.
A little bit about the project
The culinary project "MasterShef" in the format of a reality show appeared on our screens in 2011 as a Ukrainian version of the English analogue. The project participants are twenty novice chefs, the jury are culinary pros and world famous chefs.
Judges evaluate the quality of dishes prepared by the participants, taking into account not only the cooking technology, but also the observance of serving rules.
It did not matter to the jury who was Victor Perehrest or Diana Baboshina by profession. The biography, nationality, age or marital status of the participants were also not interested in the judges. The main thing is a desire for professional growth and improvement.
Amateur chefs, past the casting, are fighting for the title of chef of Ukraine. At stake and a considerable cash prize - 500 000 hryvnia. Another bonus for the winner of the show is training at the Le Cordon Bleu culinary school of Paris .
The project has gained considerable popularity and has survived more than one season. In August 2014, the fourth season of the project started, in which the famous chef Hector Jimenez-Bravo, as well as restaurant owners Nikolai Tishchenko and Tatyana Litvinova, became the judges.
The audience didn’t just have fun: they received useful information about cooking, because the pros from the jury voiced various interesting nuances of cooking, the subtleties of technology, the zest of certain dishes. The show gained popularity, and with it the participants gained fame.
Diana Baboshina: biography
Date of birth - November 28, 1993, was born in Lugansk. Lives in Kiev. At one of the forums, the girl replied that she was Tatar by nationality. An artist of easel painting, she graduated from the faculty of fine and decorative arts of the Lugansk State Academy of Culture and Arts. L. M. Matusovsky.
He works as a waitress in the Kiev restaurant Beeze, is fond of fashion, pattern, painting.
Diana does not tell much about herself - despite her extravagance, she is easy to communicate with, values true friendship and does not suffer from star fever. Participation in the show was her chance to open her own business - a strip club.
In an interview with one of the TV channels, she admitted that she learned to cook as a student: is it possible to eat in the student cafeteria? The first breakdown was sandwiches and Ukrainian borsch. When asked which dish she’s best at, “Herring under a fur coat,” Diana Baboshina answers.
Biography is the work of the person himself, she said. In her opinion, the chef not only brilliantly cooks, but also skillfully manages subordinates, quickly makes decisions and remains calm in any situations.
Why did she "fly out"
Diana went through most of the fourth season, but on December 3, 2014 she had to leave the project.
By this time, out of twenty participants, only eight remained. In the fifteenth issue, a competition of "black aprons" took place - applicants who proved to be worse than others. There were four of them: Dmitry Pavlyukov, Victor Perehrest, Samvel Adamyan and Diana Baboshina. "Master Chef" - a biography of the culinary winners: they again had to win the contest "Carousel".
The judge spins a special four-armed roulette, and each “black apron” gets a certain dish. The carousel was spinning, and the participants exchanged dishes, helping or interfering with each other. One hour was assigned to the task.
This contest became Diana’s farewell song: the jury rejected her dish. And no wonder: Diana tried to annoy Dmitry Pavlyukov literally. She covered his turkey with a mountain of salt and crackers, and then covered everything with beetroot juice. And distracted from her own dish, failing the task. So, in the fifteenth issue, Diana Baboshina left the project.
She tried to win and did her best. Everyone can test themselves and not only in the show "Master Chef".
