Grocery list:

  • Smoked chicken (breast or leg) - 300 g.
  • Boiled potatoes - 4 medium tubers.
  • Hard boiled chicken eggs - 4 pcs.
  • Onions, preferably purple - 1 large head.
  • Processed cheeses - 2 pcs.
  • Cucumbers in brine - 2 medium in size.
  • Mayonnaise (quantity depends on taste).
  • A handful of almonds for decoration.
  • Sprigs of rosemary for decoration. Especially creative housewives can replace it with real spruce branches.

The set of products is not exotic and is available to all housewives. Once all the ingredients have been prepared, you can proceed to cooking:

  1. Chicken meat is separated from the bones and cut into cubes.
  2. Boiled potatoes and eggs are rubbed on a coarse grater.
  3. Dice the onion, but do not grind it.
  4. Cheese can be cut into cubes, but it is better to give preference to a fine grater.
  5. First, boiled potatoes are spread on a flat dish, forming a fir cone, which, unlike the pine one, is more oblong.
  6. Mayonnaise is spread on top of the potato layer.
  7. Next, chopped chicken, onions, cucumbers, eggs and cheese are evenly distributed. Do not forget to coat each layer with mayonnaise and slightly add salt.
  8. The very top of the future "bumps" is aligned and laid out in rows in an almond so as to imitate the "scales" of the bumps. At the wide base lay sprigs of rosemary or sprigs of spruce, previously doused with boiling water. This will leave taunting and too intrusive smell.

"Pine cone" with grapes

Tired of the bored taste of salads with the same ingredients? Then the cone salad with grapes is what you need.

The composition is somewhat unusual for everyday cuisine. What do you need:

  • chilled chicken breast - 1 piece will be enough;
  • quail eggs, not chicken, - 6 pieces;
  • hard cheese - 100 grams;
  • seasoning "Curry" - 0.5 teaspoon;
  • salt - 1/3 teaspoon;
  • fresh large grapes - 1 sprig;
  • almonds - 1 handful;
  • mayonnaise or sour cream.

Cooking process:

  1. The salt and curry are mixed first and the chilled breast is generously rubbed with the resulting spice.
  2. Leave the meat to soak, and then fry on both sides in a pan, not excluding butter.
  3. Quail eggs are cooked to "steepness."
  4. Grapes are washed, halved and removed, if any.
  5. Cheese is grated, coarse or fine - choose for yourself.
  6. Grapes, half-cut eggs and grated cheese are combined into one mass.
  7. The chicken is cooled, the meat is separated from the bones and cut.
  8. All components are mixed, generously seasoning with mayonnaise or sour cream.
  9. On a flat dish lay out a "bump" and garnish with almonds.

"Bump" with pine nuts

The original idea of ​​this variant of the cone salad is the presence of real pine nuts.

What else is needed:

  • ham - 0.2 kg;
  • cream cheese, without additives - 200 grams;
  • Siberian nuts - 50 grams;
  • garlic - a pair of cloves;
  • dill - several branches;
  • mayonnaise;
  • almond nuts.

And now the preparation:

  1. The basis of the salad - ham - is cut into small cubes.
  2. Beat the cheese mass with a blender, adding finely chopped dill, garlic and mayonnaise.
  3. The ham is mixed with peeled cedar nuts, and everything is seasoned with previously cooked cheese and mayonnaise sauce.
  4. The whole bump is formed on the dish, but making it shorter than the spruce. Sent for 20 minutes in the refrigerator.
  5. And in the end, they are decorated with almonds and sprigs of dill. Salad is ready to serve.
