Tubules with condensed milk - it's delicious!

Perhaps, in our Soviet past, in every family, on weekends, they baked either wafer rolls or cookies in tins - nuts, squirrels, mushrooms. At least for me, condensed milk tubes are a memory from childhood.

On New Year's Eve, relatives gave me an electric waffle iron, and now my children are demanding to cook tubes in a waffle iron on weekends. With surprise, I found out that there are many recipes for dough for waffles, and we even got our favorites.

Most often, we prepare wafer rolls with condensed milk according to this recipe: 200 grams of butter; 200 grams of sugar; 200 grams of wheat flour; 5 chicken eggs.

In a small saucepan (or saucepan), melt the butter over low heat. Sift the flour through a sieve - so it will be saturated with oxygen, and the tubes with condensed milk will turn out tender and crunchy.

Now beat the eggs with a mixer (until lush foam is formed). Pour the butter to the eggs , mix and, while continuing to beat, gradually add sugar, then flour. As a result, the dough should be homogeneous, without lumps, and sufficiently liquid.

We turn our waffle iron into the network and wait until it heats up. Sometimes I come across advice to lubricate the plates of the waffle iron with vegetable oil. This is already superfluous, since the dough is already quite oily (thanks to butter).

Now proceed directly to the baking of waffles. How much dough to pour? You yourself will understand this during the cooking process. Here it is necessary to adapt: ​​one spoon may not be enough, but one ladle - a lot.

We bake our wafer until golden, remove it from the wafer plate and turn it into a tube. It is impossible to wait until the wafer cools down: it will become brittle and will not curl.

When all the waffles are ready, let's get cream. He needs the following ingredients: 200 grams of butter; one can of condensed milk; any nuts (walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds).

Condensed milk either immediately buy boiled, or boil it yourself for one and a half to two hours. This is a simple matter: you need to lower the jar into a pot of water and leave to boil over low heat. The main thing is not to forget to add water and turn off the stove in time so that you do not have to wash the walls and ceiling from the condensed milk. Put the finished condensed milk in a bowl, cool, add softened butter and mix thoroughly.

Using a confectionery syringe (or an ordinary plastic bag), we fill the tubes with condensed cream. We chop the nuts (it is more convenient to do this with a blender), then sprinkle the open edges of the wafers with them. Condensed tubules are ready to serve!

What else can you make from condensed milk and wafer rolls? I advise you to make a delicious cake. He will not leave indifferent neither children nor adults.

We prepare condensed milk tubes, as described above, only without adding nuts. Additionally, we make sour cream. The recipe is simple: beat with a mixer 500 grams of sour cream with one glass of sugar until the cream thickens. Dip into it the tubes with condensed milk and put them on a dish in the form of a woodpile. We decorate the cake with chopped nuts or confectionery powders.
