It involves the use of a purchased base, which can significantly reduce cooking time. Moreover, few homemade ones will notice that you didn’t knead the dough yourself, but simply purchased it in the nearest store. To verify this from personal experience, you will need:
- 500 g of heart.
- 400 g of the liver.
- 150 g of chicken fat of mutton.
- 500 g of puff pastry.
- 4 cloves of garlic.
- 2 large onions.
- Salt, any fresh herbs, milk and spices.
Onions and garlic are fried in pre-melted fat tail fat, stirring constantly. - 170 g of high-quality margarine.
- 1.5 cups of ordinary baking flour.
- 3 tbsp. l fresh thick sour cream.
- Salt, table vinegar and baking soda.
The named ingredients are needed to knead the dough, which will serve as the basis for the preparation of liver pie in the oven. To make the filling and filling, you will additionally need:
- 500 g of onions.
- 500 g of chilled liver.
- 200 g of non-acidic sour cream.
- 3 eggs.

After some time, the enlarged dough is divided in half. One of the parts is laid in a greased baking sheet and covered with a filling of mashed potatoes, sauteed onions and chopped boiled offal. All this is hidden under the remnants of the batter and sent for heat treatment. A jellied cake is prepared with liver in the oven, prudently heated to 170-180 degrees, within 35-40 minutes.
With milk
A delicious and very soft cake will surely appeal to lovers of yeast baking. To prepare it, you will need:
- 500 g of pork liver.
- 100 g butter.
- 5 cups of ordinary baking flour.
- 1 cup pasteurized milk.
- 1 sachet of dry yeast.
- 3 eggs.
- 1 onion.
- 1 tsp Sahara.
- Salt and vegetable oil.
Sequencing
Pre-warmed milk is combined with sugar and yeast. All this is salted and cleaned for fifteen minutes in the heat. After the designated time, the foaming liquid is supplemented with an egg, melted butter and flour. All are intensively mixed and set aside.
After about an hour, the increased dough is divided into two unequal parts. Most of them are distributed along the bottom of a greased form and covered with a stuffing from sauteed onions, boiled eggs and heat-treated ground giblets.
