United by a common misfortune
Let us recall together a brief summary. "Polesie Robinsons" is a story about the amazing adventures of two young people, Victor and Miron. They are very different both in character and in preferences, however, even finding themselves in a difficult situation, the guys remain true friends, ready to come to the rescue at any moment.
The book "Polesie Robinsons" is a kind of encyclopedia of flora and fauna. Victor is interested in the fauna and everything connected with it, while Miron prefers botany. The guys are completely different, however, they complement each other. Miron and Victor as two poles, so distant, but at the same time, the existence of one without the other is impossible. It is in a critical situation that their true nature is revealed, both are capable of real friendship.
The circumstances in which the guys fell were really extraordinary. Boys who dream of sea voyages and the pursuit of exotic animals, in fact, did not go beyond the threshold of their museum of local lore. Their theoretical knowledge is vast, but practical skills are minimal - that’s the whole problem.
How did it all begin? This will tell a brief summary. Polesie Robinsons is a book worthy of reading by every teenager.
Ill-fated boat
The adventures of the young men begin with the fact that they find themselves on the lake during the spring flood. The comrades are sailing in a kind of boat, which all the time strives to roll over. The first time Miron and Victor were very lucky, they got off with only a little fright, when the shuttle suddenly tilted sideways and scooped up some water inside. The second time, luck turned away from them. The boat fell into a whirlpool, both fell into the water, and the shuttle itself sailed downstream.
What happened next? You will learn about this by reading the summary. Polesie robinsons will teach how to behave in extreme conditions.
So, Victor and Miron are forced to swim ashore, in wet clothes, which is not so simple as it seems at first glance. After a hard fight with the lake, they finally find themselves on the shore. Exhausted and frozen guys fall exhausted on warm and dry ground. Having come to their senses and having a little rest, the youths conduct an audit of their pockets. It turns out that they had survived a crust of bread, some tobacco and four wet matches in a box. The guys decide to be content with what they have and stay for the night.
First night
Victor and Miron find their place among the roots, cover their entire rookery with dry leaves and go to bed. However, I can’t fall asleep, the guys were very cold. And then Victor comes up with the idea of how to keep warm. He causes Miron to fight. After several minutes of lively struggle, both lay down again and fell asleep. A sharp cry woke them. It turned out that the owl caught a hare. The young men were fortunate enough to grab both of them.
The guys are again trying to make fire. However, they suffer another failure. Victor and Miron again find themselves in their pit between the roots, and after long attempts to fall asleep both of them finally have a sleep.
Polesie Robinsons: a quick guide to survival on a desert island
Waking up in the morning, the guys decide to do their best and finally light a fire. The surviving matches turned out to be completely unsuitable. After several hours of hard work, the long-awaited fire finally appeared.
Now, travelers faced another problem: there was nothing to cut the hare. Using their own ingenuity, the guys emerge victorious from this situation.
Hunt and house
Miron and Victor go to the forest to get food for themselves. And here again the knowledge obtained earlier comes to their aid. They find hollow squirrels full of nuts, then some mushrooms. After a successful outing, the guys, satisfied, are accepted for the construction of housing. In this matter, our Polesie robinsons succeed and build an excellent hut.
At the end of the day, they get the idea of fishing with a shirt. And then they make a kind of cage. As a result, they are not threatened with starvation.
Life on the island
Days go by days, the guys gradually get accustomed and even meet dangerous wild animals such as wild boar, snake and bear. They use the found hedgehog as a weapon, a snake - for catching grouse, and a turtle - as dishes. Throughout life on the island, children get acquainted with animals and plants inhabiting woodland, and learn to make dishes from clay.
After an unsuccessful attempt to get out of the island, the guys again return to their previous place of stay. The writer Janka Moor will tell you in their work whether they lowered their hands. "Polesie Robinsons" is a story filled with many obstacles, but with a happy ending.
Man. One more attempt
Upon returning, the boys suddenly discover a cigarette butt. Tormented by doubts, they decide to be on the alert.
The guys again and again try to get out of the island. However, their attempts were unsuccessful.
Forced to live in Polesie, Victor and Miron every day meet animals that they really wanted to see before. For example, they get to know the beaver family. Children with great trepidation and curiosity watch their lives.
Unexpected meeting
Suddenly two men with guns appear on the island. From their conversation, our heroes learn that the bandits want to kill them, because in this place they have a warehouse of illegal things, in addition, they are saboteurs. Smugglers need to leave the island for two weeks, after which they promise to return and find out exactly what happened to Victor and Miron.
The most interesting points will tell a brief summary. Polesie robinsons decide to prepare well for their arrival. While searching for food, the young men suddenly discover the very smugglers' warehouse that was discussed in the beaver’s hut. There they find weapons and take them. For two long weeks, Victor and Miron live in constant tension. They set up camp in an inconspicuous place and begin to wait for the bandits. After some time, the men appear on the island again, they bring a prisoner with them. It turns out to be a Soviet border guard named Savchuk. He watched one of the smugglers for some time, but the criminals found him and caught him.
The work, which was written by Janka Moor ("Polesie Robinsons"), tells about the young men who were brought up by Soviet reality, these pioneers. They do not care only about themselves, guys like real men are ready to sacrifice their own lives for the sake of a stranger in distress.
The guys decide at all costs to help the prisoner. Miron and Victor give Savchuk one of the revolvers, and together they disarm and link the bandits. Then the same fate befell their accomplices.
A new problem arose in front of the guys: it was not possible for everyone to come back through the swamp. Then Savchuk goes for help alone, and Miron and Victor remain to guard the bandits. During this night, what tricks the criminals did not come up with, but the guys did not give in to their tricks. There was even a moment when the lives of the young men were in danger, after one of the prisoners burned a rope binding his hands. However, the guys were able to respond in time and again tied the criminal. The finale of the work reveals a brief summary. Polesie robinsons finally gain hope of returning home.
In the morning, Savchuk came with several Red Army soldiers. Do not convey in words the joy that the guys experienced when meeting with them. And so the adventures of two young men on the island ended, surrounded on all sides by a swamp.
