This day was always celebrated in a special way at school, although most often the students went home for a vacation. But during the Three Wizards Tournament, when numerous guests from other magic schools arrived at Hogwarts, Christmas was celebrated on a special scale.

We also recall how such a vivid event was organized, what feelings the favorite characters felt, who were invited by representatives of each school to a waltz in honor of the opening of the ball.
Tournament History
The origins of the organization of competitions between wizards date back to the distant XIII century. Traditionally, the Olympiad takes place between three schools of magic - Hogwarts, Sharmbaton and Durmstrang. These are the largest magic and spell wizard training institutions in Europe. The Triwizard tournament is called and takes place every 5 years. The contest lasts a whole year, as participants continue training. Choose their Goblet of Fire from the most worthy of the contenders.
But this year, instead of three participants, the Cup was also named Harry Potter. This did not happen by chance, but with the help of the magical intervention of Barty Crouch Jr. The name of the hero was on the list of fake school, in addition, he was the only student there, and not the best. Therefore, 4 tournament participants were named, and it is impossible to refuse to participate. This very worried the teachers, because they understood that the 14-year-old Harry was unlikely to cope with difficult tasks.
Fleur delacour
Fleur Delacour is a participant in the Three Wizards tournament from the French Academy of Witchcraft Sharmbaton, which was played by model and actress Clemence Poézie. This elegant girl is the only female among the competing wizards.
Ron Weasley invited her to the wedding ball, but she was refused by the beauty who chose Roger Davis as a waltz partner.
Victor Kram
Victor Krum from Bulgaria represented the Durmstrang School of Magic. During his stay at Hogwarts, he fell in love with Hermione Granger, although the heroine accepted his invitation to the wedding ball, but they broke up as friends. Subsequently, the characters corresponded, despite the discontent of Ron Weasley.

Cedric Digory was the representative of Hufflepuff at Hogwarts. He was the best at the faculty and the captain of the Quidditch team. Unfortunately, he died at the end of the tournament, this overshadowed the victory of Harry Potter. The hero fell into the trap of the Dark Lord and was killed by Peter Pettigrew.

He invited one of the Hindu sisters, Parvati Patil, to the wedding ball. However, he was very worried, because he was still very young and not sophisticated in love affairs.
The girl was very beautiful, but because of the awkwardness of Harry quickly got bored, like her sister, invited by the young Weasley. The most beautiful couple were undoubtedly Hermione and Victor. All the girls appreciated the courage and determination of the participant from Bulgaria, especially since he was from high school.
In addition to youth, teachers could not resist dancing to beautiful music. Albus Dumbledore invited Minerva McGonagall to dance, which surprised students with the smooth movements and elegance of an elderly lady. These are the most beloved Hogwarts teachers, who have earned the respect of students with their justice.
After the dancing, the cheerful Hermione came to say hello to her friends, but Ron could not restrain himself from jealousy and spoke rudely to her, which caused the girl's indignation and tears. However, it was then that she realized that the Weasley was really in love with her.
