Yeast-free pastry dough is a great base for making homemade cakes. It is prepared according to several different recipes, involving the use of water, kefir, yogurt or milk. The most interesting options will be presented in today's article.
With yogurt
This recipe will certainly be appreciated by busy housewives, forced to combine work in the office with household chores. It allows you to quickly fry a lot of delicious pies in a pan. Dough without yeast consists of a specific set of ingredients. Therefore, before starting its preparation, check whether you have at hand:
- 500 ml of yogurt.
- About 1 kg of flour.
- Large chicken egg.
- 1 tbsp. l Sahara.
- ½ tsp soda.
- A pinch of salt.
This dough for fried pies without yeast is prepared very quickly and simply. To begin with, yogurt is combined with soda and waiting for the reaction to end. After a few minutes, sugar, salt and a raw egg are added there. The resulting mass is supplemented with oxygen-rich flour, thoroughly kneaded and used for its intended purpose.
On kefir
This recipe will appeal to lovers of not fried, but baked pies. The dough without yeast on kefir is incredibly soft and goes well with many toppings. To prepare it, you will need:
- 2 cups of flour.
- 1 cup kefir.
- 1/3 tsp soda.
- A pinch of salt.
To begin with, in a deep container, salted kefir and baking soda are combined. Shake everything gently and leave for ten minutes. After the specified time, oxygen-saturated flour is gradually poured into the liquid. All vigorously knead, insist for a quarter of an hour at room temperature, and only after that they are used for their intended purpose.
With milk
Lovers of gentle homemade pastries will certainly be interested in another simple recipe for pastry without yeast. To play it you need:
- 900 g of flour.
- 500 ml whole cow's milk.
- 2 tbsp. l refined oil.
- ½ tsp. sugar, soda and salt.
Pasteurized milk is poured into a deep bowl. Sugar, baking soda and salt are added to it. All is well mixed and supplemented with oxygenated flour. The finished, not too sticky dough is divided into parts, rolled into flat cakes, stuffed with any minced meat and fried in a greased skillet.
With mayonnaise
Using the technology described below, a rather fat, rich dough for pies without yeast is obtained. To prepare it, you will need:
- 260 g of high-grade baking flour.
- 200 g of fatty mayonnaise.
- 200 g of 30% sour cream.
- 2 selected chicken eggs.
- 10 g of baking powder.
First you need to do flour. It is sifted twice through a fine sieve, poured into a deep bowl and combined with a baking powder. After this, the bulk mixture is carefully injected into a liquid base consisting of beaten eggs, sour cream and mayonnaise. All are thoroughly kneaded and used to make pies.
With sour cream
Using the technology discussed below, a very soft, airy dough for pies without yeast is obtained. It goes well with various sweet fillings and consists of inexpensive ingredients that are always present in any kitchen. To prepare it, you will need:
- 450 g of high-grade wheat flour.
- 5 tbsp. l oily sour cream.
- 2 chicken eggs (better than home).
- 120 ml of filtered drinking water.
- 10 g of baking powder.
- Sugar and salt (to taste).
Raw chicken eggs are thoroughly beaten with a blender, and then combined with heated water and sour cream. All this is intensively treated with a mixer, and then supplemented with salt, sugar, baking powder and oxygenated flour. The resulting dough is thoroughly kneaded with your hands and only then used to make pies.
With serum
For those who like fried pies, one more not too complicated recipe for soft, plastic dough will probably come in handy. To play it yourself at home, you will need:
- 550 g of high-grade baking flour.
- 400 ml of serum.
- 100 g of milk margarine.
- Baking powder bag, sugar and salt.
Melted, but not hot margarine is combined with whey. The resulting solution is salted, supplemented with sugar and mixed with baking powder and oxygenated flour. The finished dough is laid out on a dusted work surface, rolled out and filled with any filling.
With water and refined oil
Prepared in this way, lean dough goes well with vegetable, cottage cheese, fruit, or meat fillings. To knead it you will need:
- 530 g of high-grade baking flour.
- A glass of filtered water.
- 120 ml vegetable oil (odorless).
- Salt and sugar (to taste).
It is advisable to start the process with the preparation of wheat flour. It is sieved several times through a fine sieve, and then combined with sugar and salt. After that, filtered water and any non-flavored vegetable oil are gradually added to the bulk components. All are intensively kneaded until the lumps completely disappear, spread on a work surface, sprinkled with flour, and filled with any filling.
