The leader of the Chayf rock band, which is not aging over the years, is Vladimir Shakhrin, not only a talented musician, but also a caring husband, father and grandfather. He admits that he regrets a little about how little attention he paid to his daughters in childhood. Hopes to catch up with granddaughters and grandson.
Biography and personal life
The singer was born in the summer in the city of Sverdlovsk in 1959. He graduated from school there, where he met with the future member of the group - Begunov.
In 1978, Vladimir was taken to serve in the border troops. Shakhrov married in 1980 to the beautiful girl Elena. He met her while studying at the construction college. Vladimir Shakhrin, whose personal life is associated with one woman, in the late eighties was occupied with music more than his family. He himself complains that at that time he remembers everything about the group, and not so much about the daughters. Only that he drove them in a sled to the garden and ran to the dairy kitchen for food for them. It should be noted that this is a lot, especially for a rock musician.
After Vladimir graduated from college, he worked for eight years as an installer at a construction site. All the skills gained during study and work came in handy: much was done in the house by the skilled hands of the owner. And in Soviet times, such a profession as an installer gave the family the opportunity to get an apartment and live separately from their parents.

Wife Elena gave birth to her husband two daughters: Julia and Daria. And they gave two granddaughters - Alice and Victoria (with a difference of five months) for the fiftieth anniversary of their dad. In 2014, the eldest daughter gave birth to another grandson and thereby diluted the girl's kingdom. The boy was called Maxim.
All the education of daughters in the late eighties boiled down to the fact that dad came from the tour, gave everyone presents and left again to travel around the cities. Now the father makes up for lost time and spends more time with his daughters and grandchildren. True, in 2015, “Chayf” in honor of the 30th anniversary of the group arranged a tour around the country with tours.
At the wedding of their daughters, the parents gave them an apartment located next to the Shakhrins private house. In their opinion, for family happiness it is necessary to live separately from parents. But almost every week everyone gathers at a large table with their families.
Recently, the leader of the Chayf group bought the franchise of the Sherlock quest game in Yekaterinburg. Officially, the eldest daughter took over the management of the project. Players will be asked to complete a series of tasks and leave the room.
Grandfather and grandchildren
Grandfather is happy to play with his grandson, including musical instruments. Sings him children's songs. He kindly complains that he has to repeat the same song several times. For his granddaughters, he is not just a grandfather, but also a good friend. Often girls leave messages on the phone to their good grandfather. Wife of Vladimir is in no way connected with music. She is not only a housewife on whom the whole house rests. Elena realizes herself as an architect. The woman created a couple of projects of houses and apartments. In difficult times for the family (in the 80s), children’s overalls were sewn for sale, and thus almost one kept the whole family. Currently she is also engaged in sewing, but for herself and friends.
Daughters and grandchildren regularly visit the parental country house. Everyone lives in Yekaterinburg, and no one is going to move to Moscow for permanent residence.

Creativity of the group "Chayf"
Lyrics with a deep meaning, and the sound is always high-quality - that's what the fans love the band. For all time, the group included the best musicians of the country, but two remained unchanged: Shakhrin and Begunov. The story began with ordinary tenants in the early eighties and continues to this day, but with concerts throughout Russia.
For the first time, the musicians made a loud statement with their creativity in 1986 at the rock festival in Sverdlovsk, after which they were invited to perform in Leningrad. The group released the first vinyl with the name "It Doesn’t matter" in 1990. In the early 90s, “Chayf” is gaining its popularity. Such famous compositions as “Let Everything Be As You Want”, “Orange Mood” come out.
Since 1994, the team has been participating in festivals and prefabricated rock concerts: Maksidrom, Invasion, and Old New Rock. The latter takes place in Yekaterinburg on January 13 every year. Shakhrin acts on it in the role of the leader - Santa Claus.
The group gave concerts in London. One of them, acoustic, was played live on radio in the transmission of Seva Novgorodtseva to the Air Force.
In 2000 and 2005, for their anniversaries, the group collects the full Olympic CCM. In 2014, Chayf suspended their concert activities in preparation for the 30th anniversary. But the musicians nevertheless made an exception and performed in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg and Tula.
In February 2015, began a big tour of Russia in honor of the thirtieth anniversary - "Tea. Born in Sverdlovsk."
