Sunflower Salad: two different cooking options

Sunflower Salad with Crab Sticks

Essential Ingredients:

  • fresh green apple - 1 pc.;
  • frozen crab sticks - 1 pack or 250 g;
  • olives - 1 canned jar;
  • high-calorie mayonnaise - 170 g;
  • apple vinegar - half a glass;
  • potato chips (preferably Pringles) - 15-20 whole pieces;
  • table salt - add while cooking ingredients.

Core Product Processing

Before you make a salad "Sunflower", you must process all the purchased ingredients. First you need to wash 5 young potato tubers and the same amount of chicken eggs, send them for boiling in boiling salt water. After this, the products need to be cleaned and grated together with thawed crab sticks and a fresh green apple (the yolks and proteins should be rubbed separately). Next, you need to chop the small onion rings and soak it for 1-1.5 hours in half a glass of vinegar.

Dish formation

To prepare such an unusual salad, you need to take a shallow large plate, and then lay the following processed foods in layers: potatoes, pickled onions, grated apple, crab sticks, egg white and yolk. To make the dish juicy and tasty, each laid out layer of the product must be greased liberally with greasy mayonnaise. After that, whole potato chips (sunflower leaves) must be stuck along the edges of the plate, and black half olives (seeds) should be placed in the middle.   • potato chips (preferably Pringles) - 15-20 whole pieces;
  • table salt - add while cooking ingredients.

Cooking process

Sunflower salad with pickles looks exactly the same as the previous one. However, it tastes completely different. To prepare it, boil the eggs and potatoes, peel them and grate together with cheese (yolks and proteins separately). After that, pickled mushrooms and pickles are diced.

To form such a dish, lay out the following products in layers: potatoes, mushrooms, cucumbers, egg whites, cheese and yolks. Salad must be coated with mayonnaise and arrange similarly to the previous option.
