Sergey Kiselev was born in Kiev in 1958. In the first years of his life, he did not even think that he would become a clergyman. At school, he, like all the young men of that time, was fond of playing the guitar and composed songs. His first compositions were far from modern. They talked about feelings, the first youthful love. While he was an atheist, his idol was Vysotsky. In the army, he composed the first collection, imitating the style of this artist.
While working as a paramedic, he met the orderly Vladimir Zhernov, his colleague for work on an ambulance. They worked together in a psychiatric team. The first impression of the colleague's Christian beliefs was mixed. Sergei Kiselyov even wanted to interrupt his communication, but then he was carried away by Orthodox teaching. The first book that the future priest studied was the gospel. After the young man read it, he became convinced of the veracity of Christianity. At the age of 25, he was baptized, and at 32 he was ordained a priest and began to serve in the Yagotinsky district, in the village of Sulimovka.
So Sergey Kiselev came to Christianity, whose biography did not become less interesting from this, because he found himself not only in the service of God, but also in creativity. At the same time, Sergei is married and has three children. He has enough time for everything.
