Svetlana Zhdanova is a wonderful Russian author who writes in the fantasy genre, mainly love. In a relatively short time of her creative career, several serious novels have been written, and many fans have been acquired. However, each book finds opponents who do not like it. We will talk about all this in this article.
A bit about the author
The future writer Svetlana Zhdanova was born in 1986, on the twenty-eighth of June. This happened in the suburbs, in the small town of Orekhovo-Zuevo. According to her, there was nothing remarkable in her life, however, she was fond of writing since her teens, and in the kindergarten she composed fascinating fantastic stories that she told her friends. According to Svetlana, she always had a desire to become on this path and become a professional author.
Like everyone else, she studied and worked (having entered the institute - she did not finish), which does not seem to her that period in her life that she should pay attention to. Svetlana published her first works in the Samizdat online magazine. There, the future famous writer gained her first numerous fans. And only then, in 2009, Svetlana Zhdanova wrote the dilogy “The Demon's Bride”. Its publishing house was the Alpha Book.
A year later, Zhdanova wrote the story “Alauen. The Story of a Clan ”, after which the novel“ Fox Tail, or Po Brazen Red Dog ”was written. These books were also published by the Alpha Book Publishing House. All these books received both positive and negative reviews (after all, there are no identical people), but there were more of the first ones. According to the books already written, we can say that Svetlana prefers to write in the fantasy genre with a bias in love subjects. In the end, everything turns out pretty cute and very exciting.
It should also be said a little about the character of the writer, because each book is its small reflection and understanding of the world. According to Svetlana, she is very volatile in nature, as well as friendly, sometimes harmful and sarcastic. He also notes that he does not like pink at all, along with stewed cabbage, bigotry and gossip in the absence of a person.
Series “Demon Bride”
These were the first two books included in the series “Demon's Bride,” written by Svetlana Zhdanova. The first novel is Catch the Shadow. Zhdanova wrote it in 2009. The novel tells about the acquaintance of four charming devils, one of whom is the heir to the kingdom of the asuras, with one very mischievous girl-princess. At the very beginning of the story, the main character of Lilitan seems to be just a child, perhaps she is such, since she was barely eighteen years old.
Growing up a young princess was very difficult. Her path to happiness was also thorny. Having fallen in love with the heir to the kingdom of the Asuras, having engaged to him, she did not even know what he looked like, since he appeared before her in his changed guise. But in reality she dreamed of a blue-eyed Dantalion, not yet knowing that he was the heir.
Having survived death for her love and family, Lilithana has changed a lot. For a long time she was driven by revenge on the asura who almost killed her and killed all her sisters. However, at the end of the journey, hatred disappeared. Gradually passed and surprise from new discoveries. The princess turned out to be a half-blood Deva, who was abandoned by her mother, throwing the girl to her father.
Svetlana Zhdanova very well describes the images and characters of the characters presented in the book. So, subsequently, in the second book of the dilogy “Wings of the Phoenix”, the reader gets acquainted with the charming thief Katinka, the cute elf Elests, the beautiful deva named Shining Moon and many others. Each of them appears quite a multifaceted personality.
The end is written in happy style. Lilithana found her happiness with her beloved, who ascended the throne. A little story about how everything turned out for the heroes was “Little Devil”. It tells that the princess gave birth to a baby - a boy who was a copy of his father. But before that she gave birth to a girl - her copy.
The book “Allauen. The story of one clan ”
A year after “The Demon's Bride,” in 2010, Zhdanova wrote another book, “Allauen. The story of one clan. ” This turned out to be a humorous romance novel in a fantasy genre. Like all books of Svetlana Zhdanova, this one turned out with bright heroes who recognize each other in the confrontation, and also have considerable magical abilities.
This novel tells about handsome dragons who met a semi-aristocrat magician on their way. The latter began a difficult relationship with one of the brothers. On this, in fact, the whole plot is built, in the course of development of which various details are interwoven.
It is worth noting that both fans and opponents of Zhdanova note some similarities with her previous creation (but maybe this is because the book is a kind of continuation?). Be that as it may, the novel is worth reading.
The book “The Red Tail, or The Insolent Ginger Pug”
The next book by Zhdanova was published in 2011. Its name is "Red Tail, or Po brazen red pug." The main character of the novel is Elizabeth (Lysaveta). Bright, eccentric, arrogant and sharp on the tongue - that’s what you can say about her. Although such a description of the main characters “sin” all the books of Svetlana Zhdanova.
The plot quite unusual begins. Elizabeth’s rather strange death - falling under a pink piano - takes her to a completely different world and in a completely different guise. She becomes like a fox, and also finds her long-awaited prince. Together, they experience many adventures that lead them to a happy ending.
Book “Lord of Darkness”
Now consider her work “Lord of Darkness”. Svetlana Zhdanova wrote her in moments of sadness and despair. Obviously, this is why the love story itself oozed in pain. Fans of the author consider this work the best of all written by her. “Lord of Darkness” (Svetlana Zhdanova) is the first book, but there must be a sequel that does not exist yet.
Conclusion
As mentioned above, from the already written books we can conclude that the writer prefers the genre of "fantasy". Zhdanova Svetlana wrote a number of good books that have found their admirers, as well as opponents (well, where without it!). Obviously, the muse, which is present in her life, has its own special character, since each work has charm and charm.
