Characteristic symptoms: kidney disease

It should be noted that the symptoms of kidney disease are diverse in nature. If there is back pain due to hypothermia, we immediately talk about congealed kidneys. What happens to the kidneys, and why do we feel pain?

The kidneys are covered with a sensitive membrane, which immediately responds to any, even slight extension. The reasons may be different: swelling, swelling, inflammation, the presence of stones.

Symptoms of kidney disease are rather unpleasant sensations. One of these is a violation of the amount of urine excreted. In humans, healthy urine is excreted in the range of 0.6 to 2 liters. As a result of any disease, the amount of urine excreted by the kidneys decreases, but there is an increase in its amount in the bladder (up to two and a half liters). This is an abnormal phenomenon. Also, if the amount of urine released falls below one and a half liters, this also indicates that something is wrong with the kidneys.

The most common symptoms of kidney disease are decreased appetite, nausea, vomiting, and itching of the skin. All these signs occur, for the most part, if the cleansing function of the kidneys is impaired . Indeed, during the day the amount of blood passed by the kidneys reaches 1700 liters. At the same time, unnecessary substances, such as toxic elements, are removed from the blood, and their accumulation in the body as a result of kidney disease can cause nausea and even vomiting.

Increased excretion of urine causes thirst, and the human body immediately feels a lack of fluid. These are also symptoms of kidney disease.

A symptom such as high blood pressure can also be caused by kidney disease, since they are able to secrete renin, a hormone involved in blood pressure-related processes. An excess of this hormone or its deficiency leads to a disruption in the regulation of blood pressure. By the way, the presence of traces of blood in urine, as well as clouding of the urine itself, also indicate a malfunction in the kidneys.

One of the expressed symptoms of kidney disease can be periodic fever, facial swelling, which usually appear in the eye area. Also characteristic of this disease are swelling of the legs and abdomen, weight loss.

Based on the foregoing, we can conclude that kidney disease can give a different clinic, but they can also indicate other diseases. Therefore, only a doctor can diagnose this disease.

Unfortunately, the problems of kidney disease concern not only adults, but also children. The most common kidney disease in children is pyelonephritis. It is characterized by inflammation of the renal pelvis and directly the kidney tissue. Basically, kidney diseases such as polycystic (small cysts filled with fluid), kidney stones, and injuries of a traumatic nature are observed in children.

The most characteristic are the following symptoms of kidney disease in children: the presence of blood in urine, a reduced amount of urine produced, a state of nausea and vomiting, skin itching, lethargy, and a retarded reaction.

Recently, kidney diseases in children have become more frequent. This is due to the fact that children's immunity is not yet fully formed, and it is not able to withstand the negative effects that affect the body as a whole and individual organs in particular. Kidney diseases in children are directly dependent on the environment, more precisely, on its pollution. Food products whose quality is far from perfect also have an impact on these organs. The influence of hereditary factors to a lesser extent, but also affect the children's body.

Therefore, as soon as the first signs of kidney disease in children are detected, one should not delay treatment, since the disease is easier to cure in its very origin.
