Probably, there is no specific recipe for pomegranate ring salad . Each hostess will add something of his own to him. In fact, there are a lot of options. It is made with smoked chicken or beef, add mushrooms or fried onions. One thing remains unchanged: the top of the salad is densely covered with pomegranate seeds and made into a ring, due to which it got its name.
Pomegranate Ring: Smoked Chicken Recipe. What do you need?
The salad recipe is quite simple, and the products of which it consists can be bought at the nearest store. So we need:
- one pomegranate;
- 2-4 beets (quantity depends on size);
- 3-4 potatoes;
- 4 eggs;
- smoked breast (many replace boiled, but then the piquancy is lost);
- two onions;
- a couple of carrots;
- a handful of nuts (better than walnuts);
- light mayonnaise and salt and pepper to taste.
Ingredient preparation plus helpful tips
So, we will prepare the salad "Pomegranate Ring". A recipe with a photo will help us with this. Boil vegetables and eggs in advance. We do not recommend laying eggs in a pot with vegetables, because during the cooking process the shells crack and dirty water enters the egg. Cook the vegetables directly in the peel. To make them cleaner, you can rinse them well with the hard part of the dishwashing sponge. Why cook in uniform? The peel helps the potatoes not to boil, and beets and carrots - to preserve the taste and brightness of the color. Cook vegetables in advance, since they must be chilled to the process of collecting lettuce - so they, grated, will retain airiness, and will not be a dense warm mass.

Place a glass in the center of the salad bowl or dish on which your salad will be. We will form a salad around it, and then we will remove it before serving.
Create a salad
We begin to lay out the layers of potatoes. Rub on a coarse grater and gently spread around the glass. Do not press down so that the layer retains splendor. Each layer will be coated with mayonnaise. There is also a secret here. If you take and smooth out the mayonnaise with a spoon, the layer will become dense, and we try to avoid this. If you squeeze the sauce directly from the bag, the wide neck of mayonnaise will be in excess, which is also not very good. Mayonnaise squeezed out through the hole will lay down in a thin layer and they can even decorate the top of salads. We put a chicken on a layer of salad and cover it with a blanket from onions. Then everything is simple: a layer of grated eggs, a layer of carrots, and beets complete. We rub all vegetables on a coarse grater and coat each layer with mayonnaise, salt and pepper. Lubricate the beets quite a bit, sprinkle with crushed nut on top, and then draw patterns on top of the mayonnaise. What is the second layer of mayonnaise for? The fact is that we need to lay pomegranate seeds on top, and they will not stick to a layer of nuts. We disassemble pomegranates into grains. If you are lucky and you find a pomegranate without seeds, the "Pomegranate Ring" will turn out to be very tender, but the bones do not interfere with taste and structure. So, with a dense layer we spread the grains on top of the salad, carefully remove the glass from the center. Now the salad has acquired the desired shape and looks amazingly beautiful and appetizing. Do not rush to immediately serve it to the table. Our "Pomegranate Ring" is a puff type salad. And such dishes should be kept in the refrigerator for several hours before serving, and the next day it will become even tastier.

Salad "Pomegranate Ring" with beef and mushrooms
There is a variant of the classic salad with beef - it is incredibly tasty and satisfying.
We buy products:
- Garnet;
- beef tenderloin without bone and fat;
- beets, carrots, potatoes (3-4 pieces, depending on size);
- fresh champignons (do not take frozen ones because when defrosting they will release water and not be fried, but stewed);
- a pair of onion heads;
- walnuts;
- mayonnaise, salt, pepper.
Cooking salad
As you can see, the ingredients are almost the same. And the cooking process is the same. Cook vegetables, eggs and meat in different pots. Do not forget to remove the foam during the cooking process, because the broth can be used when cooking the first dish. While everything is boiling, chop the onions in half rings and fry in sunflower oil. We add chopped champignons there and fry everything until done. Cut the finished meat into small strips. Do not forget that all vegetables should be cold. It will be ideal if you cook all the products the day before, make a salad in the morning and leave it to infuse until the evening. We collect the salad in the same way as in the previous recipe: potatoes, beef, onions with mushrooms, eggs, carrots, beets, nuts, pomegranates. All layers alternate with mayonnaise and sprinkle with salt.
Salad with gherkins and cheese
Structure:
- chicken fillet - 1 piece;
- potatoes, beets, carrots, onions;
- eggs
- gherkins (namely small ones that will give crispness and contain less water);
- cheese (hard or processed - to your taste);
- Garnet;
- walnuts.
