Rice dishes conquered our country in the last century. Now it is produced in the south of Russia. It goes well with both meat and fish. Rice is used to make cereals, soups, salads, desserts, and famous Japanese sushi. Today I also decided to offer several recipes, according to which rice dishes are cooked quickly and turn out delicious.
1) Rice with sausage. To prepare this simple dish, you need 400 grams of rice, 400 grams of half-smoked sausage (it is better to take it made according to GOST, for example, โKrakowโ), olive oil, 1 large onion, 1 sweet red pepper, a couple of cloves of garlic, a bunch of fresh parsley.
We wash the rice and soak in warm water for 20 minutes. While it is soaked, we clean the sausage, cut into cubes and lightly fry in vegetable oil. We cut the pepper in strips, we pass the garlic through a crush, chop the onion finely and combine it with the sausage, pour a small amount of water and simmer for 5 minutes. Boil the rice in a large amount of water (no more than 10 minutes), drain the water and combine with the sausage. Mix everything, salt to taste and sprinkle with parsley. These rice dishes can be served with sauce or regular tomato paste. Rice can be replaced with spaghetti or pasta, but this is for those who are not against experiments.
2) Fried rice with chicken. My cousin shared this recipe. For cooking, we need 400 grams of rice, 20 grams of butter, 300 grams of chicken, salt, a couple of eggs, 60 grams of porcini mushrooms, a bunch of green onions, soy sauce to taste. In general, rice and chicken dishes also go well with various sauces, so any sauce can be used here.
Pre-rinse and soak in warm water. Then boil it, drain the water and let the rice cool. Cut the chicken fillet into small cubes and fry a little in butter. Mushrooms, shred and spread to the chicken, salt and fry a little more. We spread the meat and mushrooms from the pan, put boiled rice in it and fry until a brown tint is formed. Beat the eggs and fry them separately, stirring so that it turns out not just one scrambled egg, but separate pieces. We combine rice, chicken, mushrooms, eggs, pour sauce, sprinkle with green onions and serve. These are such gorgeous rice dishes that you get, you just have to want to cook.
3) Oimuras. This dish is purely Japanese, I tried it in one local Japanese cafe. In appearance, the dish resembles a tortilla. For cooking, we need 150 grams of sausages (this is about 2 things, I cooked from Dairy), medium-sized onions, 200 grams of rice, 2 eggs, ketchup or tomato sauce.
Finely chop sausages and onions, fry in vegetable oil. Boil the rice and combine with sausages, mix well and fry a little. Fry an egg omelet in a separate pan. We spread rice on a plate with a slide, cover with egg omelette on top and pour tomato sauce. Oimuras is ready.
In general, Japanese rice dishes can be in the most unexpected combinations. But this is only unusual for us, and for the Japanese themselves - a normal diet. It should be noted that the Japanese themselves call the ready-made rice "gohan", and they cook it a little differently. Cook until the water itself evaporates, and we are used to drain excess water. The Japanese believe that the broth leaves all the taste and aroma, so rice seems empty to us. In addition, they add various spices and spices to the water during cooking, sometimes even rice vinegar. So we Europeans should learn from the Japanese how to cook rice properly.
Another world famous Japanese dish is sushi. The Japanese themselves call it "sushi." This is a dish of rice, nori sheets (pressed seaweed), vegetables and various seafood. It is usually served with soy sauce and Japanese horseradish - wasabi. So itโs worth trying Japanese dishes.
