Colitis of the intestines. Symptoms that determine its development

The inflammatory process inside the colon or in its individual sections is colitis. Over time and in the complete absence of appropriate treatment, ulcers can form on the mucous membrane and even hemorrhages can occur, forming ulcerative colitis of the intestine. There is acute and chronic colitis of the intestine. Symptoms in an acute illness are bright short-term pains in the lower abdomen, fever, sometimes reaching thirty-nine degrees, diarrhea and bloating. In one to two weeks, acute bowel colitis can be cured.

Symptoms of chronic colitis result from a running acute form of the disease and are characterized by periodic constipation and diarrhea, frequent belching, nausea and vomiting. A person becomes irritable and quickly gets tired, he is worried about frequent fading and exacerbations of the disease, headache and sleep disturbances, constant bloating in the abdomen and loss of appetite. Often, due to the abuse of laxatives, due to parasitic infestations, with an upset of nervous regulation of the intestine and a disturbed diet, colitis can occur. Symptoms are always accompanied by aching pains in the lower abdomen and unpleasant nausea. At the first signs of the disease, appropriate treatment should be started. A proper diet, compliance with all hygiene standards, a strict regimen, rest and sleep, water procedures, physical education, oral care and stubborn treatment will help get rid of such an unpleasant disease as intestinal colitis.

Treatment with folk remedies is quite effective and includes the use of various herbal preparations and dieting. In most cases, this is sufficient and additional medication or surgery will not be needed. Sometimes fees may be combined with the use of other medications, but then you need to consult your doctor. It should be said that in advanced cases, such as ulcerative colitis, the treatment can be quite long, and sometimes last a year or more.

An infusion of berries and leaves of raspberries helps well if there is underdeveloped colitis of the intestine, the symptoms of which are dull. At more serious stages, decoctions from the collection of herbs are used, such as chamomile, sage, centaury, peppermint, St. John's wort, caraway fruits, stinging nettle, cinquefoil erect, galangal, flaxseed, comfrey and gray alder. These herbs are included in the recipes of the well-known Wang, who recommended them as the best remedy in the fight against a disease such as intestinal colitis. Treatment with folk remedies includes the use of watermelon, pomegranate broth and onion juice. These agents have excellent anti-inflammatory and healing effects.

With this disease, you must adhere to a strict diet, and if it is in acute form, complete fasting in the first two days is recommended. Fractional meals are required, five or six times a day, in small portions. Food should always be warm. A warm heating pad is also applied to the stomach to alleviate the condition. The doctor prescribes enemas with starch and chamomile, analgesic suppositories in the anus and the obligatory rubbing with Vaseline. It is recommended to drink as much liquid as possible and, if possible, exclude coffee from the diet. The meat is consumed in strictly limited quantities, vegetables must be subjected to heat treatment, in order to avoid dysbiosis. Fruits (apples and pears) can be eaten, but only without peel.

It is necessary to completely exclude any kind of spices, fruits and vegetables with seeds, bran bread, everything fatty, including butter and fried foods. And remember that improvement can come already in the first week of treatment, however, a good and lasting result requires a longer and daily use of herbs and dieting.
