Konstantin Georgievich Paustovsky is a famous Soviet writer of the twentieth century, whose books are translated into many languages of the world. His works are included in the school curriculum in literature. A contemporary of such great masters of the pen as Bulgakov, Kataev, with whom he was personally acquainted.

Every day he gets to know this world closer, gets acquainted with its inhabitants, feels how he breathes. Even the trees talk to the child, not to mention animals, birds, insects.
Special attention should probably be given to the grandmother of Petit the little Anisieux. These women who have seen life often play an imperceptible, but huge (if not the most important) role in our fates. And she did happen to bring up her grandson alone, who had been an orphan since childhood. And in their dialogue one can hear her genuine affection and care, bitterness and love. Anisya is trying to protect him from growing up early: "You bury everything in the corners and think. But you are too early to think. You’ll have time to think about it for your life."
In general, a boy grows up under the supervision of a grandmother on the one hand, and under the supervision of nature on the other.

So Petya the Little merged with nature, so that when a hungry bear in the fall decided to profit from calves, which the boy daily grazed on the opposite bank, then animals, birds, and plants came to his defense. The poor clubfinger could only retreat, but with great difficulty and without a tail.
After such an unsuccessful dinner, the Deep Bear began to claw that it would never go to the other side, cleaned up its lair and began to prepare for hibernation.
