This delicious homemade dish is a worthy alternative to the product purchased in the store. Mostly at home, chicken sausage with gelatin is prepared in a natural shell, i.e. in the intestines. But often the housewives prefer cling film or foil to them. Plastic bottles are also used to create tasty and aromatic treats. No matter how cooked chicken sausage with gelatin - whether cooked in a saucepan or in a slow cooker, baked in the oven - invariably it turns out much better than the store. Homemade Chicken Sausages
The process of creating a treat takes about an hour and a half. To prepare four servings of chicken sausage with gelatin use:
- chicken thighs (boneless) - 1 kg;
- garlic - 7-8 cloves;
- salt - one teaspoon;
- half a teaspoon of ground pepper;
- half a teaspoon of seasoning for steak and chicken;
- mayonnaise - two tablespoons;
- 15 grams of gelatin.
Description of the method of preparation
Homemade chicken sausage with gelatin is prepared as follows:
- The meat, together with the skin, is cut into cubes 1.5-2 cm in size (i.e. not very small). For speed, you can buy boneless hips (already cut).
- Pour black pepper and seasoning for steak and chicken. The spices used in this recipe should contain sea salt, onions, paprika, turmeric, coriander, tomatoes, mustard seeds, white pepper, chili. They give any dish (meat) a special unique charm.
- Next, add minced garlic and salt, mayonnaise (2 tablespoons) and mix thoroughly. After that, add 15 grams of gelatin and mix again.
- Next, sausages begin to be made. From the presented number of products, four sausages (small) should be obtained. Each of them is laid out on a plastic wrap, rolled up and wrapped in foil in the form of a "candy".
- After that, the dish is sent to the oven, heated to 180 Β° C, for 1 hour.
- The cooled sausage is sent overnight to the refrigerator.
Chicken sausage with gelatin in a bottle
A bottle for making home-made sausages is not plastic, but glass. According to experts, cooking a delicacy in a plastic bottle is harmful. The ingredients are put into it already almost ready. Plastic containers (0.5-1 l) are filled with chopped meat (boiled) or minced meat, as well as thick broth, in which gelatin should first be dissolved. Then the product is cooled in the refrigerator for 8 hours until completely solidified. Then the bottle is simply cut and the finished sausage product is removed from it.
Ingredients
From the list of products below, 1 kg of delicious homemade sausage is obtained. Use:
- chicken leg - 2 pcs.;
- a large package of gelatin -15 g;
- broth - 250 ml;
- half a teaspoon of salt;
- paprika - 0.5 tsp;
- 2-3 bay leaves;
- a quarter of a teaspoon of red food coloring;
- half a teaspoon of black pepper;
- garlic - two to three cloves;
- plastic bottle - 1 l.
Cooking technology
Act as follows:
- Wash the legs and spread in a pan. Pour salt, add bay leaf. Pour water and cook meat for 40-45 minutes.
- 20 minutes after the start of cooking, each leg is punctured with a knife to release excess blood.
- Then the finished chicken legs are taken out in a bowl, cooled and the pulp is separated from the bones.
- Pour hot broth (250 ml) into a separate container, pour gelatin into it. Dissolve it for 10-15 minutes so that no lumps remain in the mass.
- Chicken meat (cooled) is ground and placed in a bowl of a food processor.
- Pour seasoning, dye and garlic into the bowl (peeled and chopped cloves)
- Pour the broth with gelatin and beat, using the highest speed of the blender, until the mixture becomes homogeneous. At this stage, the mince can be tasted and, if necessary, add the missing ingredients.
- Then cut off the top of an empty plastic bottle (clean, 1 liter), transfer the finished meat mass to it.
- The future sausage is sent to the refrigerator for three hours or an hour in the freezer. During this time, the sausage should harden.
- It is removed from the bottle with scissors - the vessel is carefully cut from one side to the very bottom, after which an incision is made at the bottom. Released sausage spread on a plate.

A product made in a bottle smells unusually tasty and looks extremely appetizing.
How to cook homemade chicken sausage with gelatin in foil in the oven?
The recipe for this treat is simple. If there is no opportunity or desire to tinker with the intestines, the sausage is wrapped in foil or cling film and baked in the oven. The dish turns out to be just excellent in taste, and the process of its preparation consists only in grinding meat and packing it in film.
In this recipe for chicken sausage with gelatin, the use of chicken thighs and breasts is provided, because the red and white meat alternating in the product looks very appetizing and has a particularly interesting and pleasant taste. For cooking use:
- two chicken breasts;
- ten chicken thighs;
- eight cloves of garlic
- one tablespoon of chicken seasoning;
- 0.5 teaspoon of pepper (black);
- 15 g of gelatin;
- mayonnaise (2 tablespoons);
- one and a half teaspoons of salt.
How to cook?
Act as follows:
- Chicken thighs and breasts are washed and dried with a napkin. All bones are selected. The meat along with the skin is cut into small pieces, 1 cm in size. It is better not to use a meat grinder for chicken sausage.
- All minced meat is put in a large bowl, pour pepper and salt, seasoning for chicken and garlic, crushed using a press.
- Gelatin is poured directly into the meat (without soaking). The mixture is well kneaded.
- Add a little mayonnaise to the meat, mix again and leave to marinate for half an hour. During this time, a mixture of gelatin and spices should soak the entire mass. Then they knead it again.
- Then cut the cling film into large pieces. The meat is divided into four parts, from which sausages will be created (4 pcs.). Each piece of meat is wrapped portionwise in a film and packaged tightly.
- The finished sausage (4 pcs.) Is wrapped in two layers of foil, twisted and sent to the oven, heated to 180 Β° C.
- Bake for an hour.
- After this time, the sausage is removed from the oven and allowed to cool, after which it is stored in the refrigerator for the night, where it should remain for a day.
