The future genius was born in the city of Bonn on December 17 in 1770. His family was musical, so from early childhood the boy began to be taught to play the violin, organ, flute and harpsichord. His first teacher was his father, and at the age of 10 he began to study at the school of the composer Nefe. In his incomplete twelve years, Ludwig van Beethoven became an assistant organist at court.

In 1787, her mother died, and her responsibilities in the family fell on Ludwig. In 1789 a talented guy becomes a student at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Bonn, but soon drops out. He moves to Vienna in order to be able to study with Haydn, but he sends him to Albrechtsberger. Beethoven’s manner of playing, according to Haydn, was rude and gloomy, however, it was in those years that he wrote his first masterpieces: “Moonlight Sonata” and “Pathetic Sonata”. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, whom he visited in 1787, also praised his talent.

A young talented guy found patrons in the circles of the Vienna aristocracy and soon became one of the most fashionable pianists of the time. But he was not even thirty years old when he was overtaken by a terrible disease for the musician - tinnitus, which eventually led him to complete deafness. In 1801, the composer realizes that he will not be able to hear music for very long, therefore he eagerly takes up work to manage to do as much as possible. For ten years, he creates hundreds of works for playing the cello, piano. The light heard his "Ninth Symphony", "Solemn Mass." In 1808, his, in fact, last solo performance as a pianist took place.

In the period from 1813 to 1815, the composer wrote very little, he was overcome by depression associated with hearing loss and the collapse of his matrimonial plans. In addition, in 1815 his brother died, and the care of his son, who has a very difficult character, fell on the shoulders of the composer. He finds salvation in music - he creates amazing works for piano and cello, being already in complete sound isolation from the world.
