Sherbet is a home-made sweet, which can be prepared by very simple manipulations. This is a cross between ice cream and halva. At home, you can cook a sorbet, the calorie content of which you will know exactly, and you can also control all the ingredients that you put there. We will prepare two versions of this treat - strawberry and chocolate.
Homemade Sweet - Strawberry Fruit Ice
This is a very light dessert that refreshes well in the heat and allows seasonal fruits to be used in the preparation. The most important thing is how to make strawberry sorbet - the composition and final structure. To achieve uniformity, it must be quickly frozen, then the desired degree of crystallization will be achieved. You can grind the sorbet with a blender, and a mixer, and even with a cold knife. It takes 450 grams of strawberries (already peeled stalks), 250 grams of sugar, half a glass of orange juice, 75 grams of lemon juice and some kind of flavoring liqueur. From sugar and juice you need to make syrup. Then mashed the strawberries and combine it with the liquid.

Stir in the liquor and place the mixture in two low trays (disposable, foil). It is important that the berry mass is not thick. Then freezing will occur throughout the depths. In a plastic bowl, this will not happen quite right and much longer. Place the trays in the freezer. After a few hours, remove, thoroughly beat and place again in the cold. Repeat this operation again. If you have an ice cream maker at home, this is excellent. But even in her absence, as you see, you will get a wonderful home-made sweetness. If the strawberries are sour, take more sugar. The shelf life of the sorbet is not limited, but it will lose a fresh strawberry flavor very quickly. Therefore, it is advisable to use it within a week. You can also make a summer cocktail from sorbet. To do this, in a blender, mix two hundred grams of sorbet, a glass of vodka and a glass of champagne or semi-dry white wine.
Homemade Chocolate Sweets
This sorbet is more caloric than the previous one. To prepare it, you will need cookies (you can take the "Jubilee"), dried fruits (cherries, cranberries, dried apricots or prunes of your choice), honey, one black chocolate bar (with the maximum content of cocoa), walnuts and almonds. Moreover, the list of ingredients can be varied to your taste, adding various nuts, dried fruits and even nougat or pieces of marshmallows. All components must be taken handful. Chop the nuts. Moreover, walnuts - to large pieces (then they need to be fried in the oven), and almonds - into small crumbs. Break the cookies with your hands. Mix all the dry ingredients together. Meanwhile, melt the butter and honey in a water bath. Then fill them with the dry mixture and mix gently. Put in a container lined with cling film. Put in the cold. After five to ten hours, the treat can be taken out, chopped and sampled. Store better in the refrigerator. To carefully remove the sorbet from the mold, it can be quickly (literally for a few moments) dipped in hot water.
