The poet, on the other hand, finds a different form. He Neva has a "sovereign" current, fortified by banks of granite. The author thus emphasizes the majesty and power of this irresistible river. It conveys the architectural mood of the city and the cast-iron fence pattern, noted by the author. The poet also paints an amazing picture of brooding nights with moonless splendor and transparent dusk. It's about a short dark time of day in the summer. Particular attention should be paid to this, since white nights are a unique phenomenon. There is the author himself in the work, in muffled but incredibly expressive tones, he tells how in his room at such moments he reads and writes without a lamp. Admiralty Needle appears in the next scene. Pushkin saw in the city an extraordinary beauty and at the same time emphasized that people created it. However, the author also speaks of the natural charm of the city on the Niva, which nature gave him. The last expressive picture is the illuminated night sky, where dawns, replacing one another, are in a hurry to dispel night darkness.
