Acting Ensemble
In the performance of the classic play of the brightest hero, Dustin Hoffman played, and in the movie drama, the unspoken rival Al Pacino shone with all the facets of his talent in the role of James Fowley. For the embodiment on the screen of an extremely enterprising businessman in the real estate trading industry, Ricky Roma Al Pacino was deservedly nominated for an Oscar, but he will receive the coveted award much later for his role in the movie The Smell of a Woman.
His older colleague Jack Lemmon, who played the role of an elderly loser Shelley Levin, forced to fight for his workplace, was awarded the prize of the prestigious Venice Film Festival.
