The best complement to every meal is bread. Will it be black, gray or just a dairy loaf - the main course will only win. But sometimes such simplicity and routine is a little annoying. More often this happens in the spring, when the supply of vitamins in the body practically does not remain, and you want to eat something fresh, healthy and, moreover, tasty. Therefore, we offer original croutons with garlic, the recipe of which will be given below.
To get a good snack, you need to choose not a fresh bakery product, but yesterday, or better yet, the day before yesterday. Then all the moisture that is contained in the fresh dough will evaporate, and only a good crumb will remain, from which you can create culinary masterpieces, for example, croutons with garlic. The recipe is original and simple.
So, how to cook garlic croutons ? For this we need the following ingredients:
- A loaf of bread, preferably black. If not, then you can use gray, but the tip above is especially important here. The loaf does not go well with garlic; it is best used for crackers or casseroles;
- Vegetable oil;
- Garlic - one head;
- Parsley.

To make the appetizer look quite original and unusual for an amateur, you need to cut the bread with interesting slices. To do this, cut off all the crusts and leave only the core. The crust is too quickly fried, and becomes dry and tasteless, so it is better not to use it at all.
Advice! To prevent the crust of bread from disappearing in the kitchen in vain, dry it in the oven, and then twist it into breadcrumbs.
The rest of the bread is cut into strips along the entire length. You should get 1 1 cm centimeters, and the length will already be different. If such a breadstick seems too long for you, then cut it into the parts you need.
- Prepare the garlic. To do this, it needs to be peeled and cut into fairly small pieces. You can also use a blender. He will be able to make garlic mashed potatoes, which will play a rather excellent role in this dish.
- Then add a little salt, black pepper, a few tablespoons of vegetable oil, and one tablespoon of water to the garlic puree. Liquid gruel is formed.
